Learning Python with Shecodes has been an incredibly rewarding experience. Initially, I was quite apprehensive about diving into Python. But Matt has a remarkable ability to break down complex concepts into simple, manageable pieces, which has greatly enhanced my understanding. I now feel confident in my understanding of the basics of Python and am truly excited to further deepen my knowledge.
That was really hard! But I'm confident that with more practice I'll be able to understand and apply it even better. Thankful that Matt explained everything step by step🤓

I really enjoyed working through the basics add-on. It really is an add-on to everything we learnt in the basics workshop. Fun to pick up/learn, however the process was slightly challenging (in a good way!)

My journey started after matric ,i was not accepted for the course i wanted to do initially. I then came across a sheCodes alumni's page where she explained how she found her way into tech without a degree. This sparked an interest to me and so i decided to go for it as well. As soon as i was accepted coding soon became interesting and fun to learn. I cannot wait to explore the different intricacies of tech.

This add-on was a lot of fun and cleared up some questions I had regarding CSS after the basics course. I recommend participating in the add-ons before jumping into the next set of courses; it's helped me tremendously. Initially I had started the Plus course right after my basics classes and I felt like I was missing some information. After going back and completing this add-on course from basics, I am now much more confident in my Plus courses.
React Add-on was defiantly my favorite workshop yet. Building this dictionary project put all of the skills i've learned to the test. From integrating the API's to using basic CSS styling. Having the interactive mini-projects have allowed me to fully grasp each lesson and build from scratch.

Thanks to Matt and my hard work, this is the first single-page website created, dedicated to my portfolio. It has been tough but amusing, and what I like the most is the fact that I spent so much time improving and changing things, and time flies because I was having so much fun!
The workshop was easy to understand and I could finish it in my own time. Overall, I feel satisfied with what I have learned so far and the page I created for the final project.
Basic-add ons have been interesting to learn. I enjoyed the transform elements and moreover changing the theme from dark to light.
I am a coding beginner and this course is my first ever coding experience.I found it very difficult initially but began to understand as i did more exercises and eventually the projects. I work in a company that implements Salesforce where we use Apex to customize clients requirements and I have been struggling to understand how Apex works, especially Maps - creating them, populating them, looping through them. With your explanation of Python and Dictionaries I was able to understand how the coding logic can be applied in Apex and Maps. I can't wait to apply what I just learnt in my projects!

I don't have a background in code and I never really thought it was for me. I've been really enjoying this course and all that comes with it. I think when learning how to code, it's important to stay patient with yourself.
Due to life events, I had to restart this module many times. As always I found Matt's instruction direct and clear. He always explains the how and the why. Highly recommend if you are just staring out with React.
I absolutely loved this course. It was very challenging but I learned so much. The effort and pay off was incredibly satisfying and finishing the course with a working weather app was such a huge accomplishment. Matt was a great teacher and I felt like everything was explained very clearly. Even if I did struggle, the Slack was always very helpful and quick with responses.
I thoroughly enjoyed the 8-week she codes plus program, despite the challenges. While some lessons initially seemed daunting, they were all ultimately clear and understandable. The experience was valuable, and I am eager to continue learning.
