Fantastic workshop! Easy to understand information for beginners with no previous experience (I am a previous speech therapist). Lots of content broken down into short, easy-to-understand videos. Plenty of support from the community so I never felt lost.
I'm positive this course has launched the beginning of a great career for me. Matt took his time and broke the lessons into the simplest form ever. Never in my imagination had I thought I would know how to code but here I am, coding and speaking coding terms. Lol. I knew I made the right choice by registering for the SheCodes Express class and subsequently signing up for SheCodes Foundation. Thank you Matt!

Learning SheCodes Plus can be quite a challenge but it was a great experience! I am happy to have learned more about coding after SheCodes Basic. I am also thankful that their team's live chat support is always available every time I'm feeling stuck or confused on how to do the homework.

I like this courses and this challenge, it's allow me to gain new skills. I make my own weather app, liked this process so mush. This was a really fun project and I look forward to using it as a way to show my progress! This really got me into a design mindset and figuring out how to utilise design tools and really think about the process of committing changes and planning ahead. The deadlines give structure and I was happy to finally finish! On to React!

I took SheCodes Basics to try out coding and see if it was something I'd enjoy doing. The videos and lessons are packed with information, and the challenges taught me a lot.
I love how Matt walks us through the entire journey. Each lesson it's a baby step, but then, when you reach the final week it's impressive how far you went.
I took a JavaScript class at CSU and did not do that well. I thought maybe JS just wasn't for me, but SheCodes (& Matthieu) showed me that I *can*. I cannot wait to explore the other workshops! Thank you!

This is a very easy to follow along program for beginners. I think this really 3 week workshop has shown me that I can really enjoy coding as a career!! I can't wait to learn more and get deeper into this field. The instructor is easy to follow and gives great resources, so you never feel lost for long.
I've achieved more in the last couple of weeks on SheCodes than I have in the last few years when I've tried to learn through other teaching platforms. SheCodes breaks down the essentials into short and informative videos, and the demonstration challenges really help to build up the learning further.

This part of the course was very interesting. We made a website!!!! Perfect!) I loved the format of the course, that help was always available in Slack, and that assignments were not peer-graded like in some other courses. My favorite part was the feeling of accomplishment after completing an assignment.
I highly recommend this course! Even if you already have some coding knowledge, this course helps you to organize and consolidate what you already know. The lessons are short, so it's really easy to find time to study during the day. It was a great adventure for me and I'm ready for the next level!

I was unsure about taking the plunge with this course but so glad that I did! While it has been hard work, I have really enjoyed learning the basics of coding. This was a very nice, beneficial and enriching coding course which exceeded my expectations! :) As a complete newbie into coding I was a bit afraid in the beginning I would not make it and understand everything, but Matt is really explaining everything very clearly and nicely and all the materials are also very helpful. It was not easy, especially in the beginning to cope with all the new information, but after a while, with some practicing and personal effort, it gets just better and will actually bring you some real joy seeing your own nice coding results :) Really glad I went for this workshop and definitely not end of my newly discovered coding journey :)

She Codes was such an amazing experience to learn the basics of coding in a step by step fashion. I took the class to have a better understanding of what coding is, as a teacher that now has to teach coding as a part of the curriculum. However, I am now so excited to continue to develop these skills as a creative outlet.
I've never seen a better online workshop than this! I love it so much and had a lot of fun while learning, everything was so easy to understand because Matt and his team put a lot of work into a workshop to be approachable and understandable. The workshop felt like a great introduction to the world of web development.
I started SheCodes because I have been looking for a change in career. I graduated with my nursing degree in 2017 and have been working ever since. Needless to say, the last few years has been extremely difficult and quit my job due to burnout. I had been looking tirelessly for something new when I stumbled upon the SheCodes intro course. After these first few weeks doing the basic workshop, I finally feel excited and passionate about something again. Matt makes coding so approachable. I can't wait to start the next course!
Learned a lot of useful information in this wokshop! My projects look so alive now, on mobile devices too, and it's very important these days. Got a lot of motivation to keep on learning to coding!

I am impresseв about the way of learning. All information is good prepared and structured. It is easy and understandable.
I was originally going to take another computing course, but only came across an instagram ad and was like 'oh, let's just check them out and see'. Never did I know that I'd be joining the SheCodes Basics class 2-days later, I honestly learned so much during the 3 weeks. I'm not much a fan of online classes, but Matt explains things so well it's honestly so good being a part of this. It's so fun, the challenges and the weekly assignments are so useful and so fun, I love to learn new things--so, the challenges really help motivate this whole experience. Also, the idea of having Slack and getting involved with other students' questions, and giving help is honestly just great--a lot of other online classes don't have this sort of community where students are able to help one another. I can't wait to explore the other courses in the upcoming months!

Absolutely loved this workshop! React was definitely a challenge, and I'm still working on being comfortable with the various ways things work - but this workshop showed me that it is something that I am very interested in.
