SheCodes.io is a great refresher course. I have been a Web Designer for 8+plus years and wanted to learn more JavaScipt and get better in programming.
A lot because of the many follow-ups and exercises that are given and also the good teacher we have.
I've achieved so much knowledge with this course already. The challenges are fun to do and not too difficult! The instruction videos are also very easy to follow. SheCodes Basics has been a great introduction to coding and i can't wait to start SheCodes Plus!

The Responsive Add-On workshop was really interesting. It was really fun to learn how to build a responsive website using just pure HTML and CSS.
It was very convenient for me, I'm a teacher with a very tight schedule and even so i was able to take the time and learn how to build a simple website!
SheCodes Basics has been a great introduction to coding. I really enjoyed the format and the challenges to be able to test my understanding. It has made me really excited to learn more!

I signed up for SheCodes Basics and I was immediately hooked! I'd always thought coding was so difficult and I'd need to be really good at math (I suck at math), but the workshop busted those myths. I appreciated that each lesson was bite-sized - it kept me wanting to learn more, without being overwhelmed. SheCodes is definitely a resource that I could see myself coming back to over and over again. If anyone is remotely interested in learning how to code, I highly recommend signing up to SheCodes workshops today!

Bootstrap was strenuous in SheCodes Plus course, but became comprehensible in Responsive the more you work with it. The walk-through videos were very helpful and informative. I've acquired a lot of knowledge and new skills through these courses!

This course was exciting! The best thing is that in the end, you'll be able to build your own weather app. Also, I've learned a lot of great and new things. I initially started to learn how to code through another company and was extremely put off, I was ready to quit learning and put my aspirations of learning how to code to the side until I found SheCodes. This course has been challenging, but it's been a lot of fun and the resources and the support from SheCodes have been brilliant 🤩 Whenever I've had a question I could either find the answer in the SheCodes Slack channels, or ask them in Slack myself and I'd get an answer very quickly. With the tools we're given, I was also able to experiment a little with my code. I'm a graphic designer, and I wanted to design my own weather icons for the weather app we needed to create. The people at SheCodes had no problem with that, and I managed to include them and I'm so chuffed with the results! If anyone out there is keen to take this course but you can't quite decide; you'll learn so many tools and techniques and you'll be amazed by what you're able to create at the end! I was nervous too, but now I'm so glad I did it!! Plus, you have a lifetime access to the lessons so what you learn will never go out-of-date, as they update their lessons to reflect any new techniques, updated software, etc.
This basic web development course was so useful and fun. I am very excited because coding is very interesting, especially when I see the result of the codes as a colorful page. Thank you, SheCodes for this valuable opportunity.

Brilliant teaching, would never have considered coding as a hobby prior to undertaking this class. It was something I never understood when I was younger in school but Matt explained it in a way that I was able to both understand the concepts but also practice them myself.

This course really tested my analytical abilities. It took me quite a while to catch on during the Week 1 activities, and I was significantly frustrated by how slow I was at completing the tasks. Week 2 was much more enjoyable as I became more familiar with the process and with the coding languages. The final project was a lot of fun, as well as a lot of back-and-forth of tweaking things to get them to where I was satisfied with the end result. I would highly recommend this course to anyone who has an interest in understanding how webpages are constructed, and the creative possibilities this training can open up for you.

The classes were clear to follow and wonderfully structured for beginners. SheCodes is built in a way where motivation is never once lost and the assignments only push one to challenge themselves with what is taught. I can't believe how much one can learn in three weeks!! This program has helped me to understand how to code and how to fix my code. The instructor speaks in a very calm manner and he explains everything in a thorough and real life type of way.
I've really enjoyed learning the basics of coding and feels great to be able to create a simple project at the end of it. The courses were well-explained, and I was able to handle the work load with a very busy schedule. Looking forward to the more advanced courses soon!
With more practice through these lessons, challenges, and projects, I am feeling much more confident and comfortable coding. When I first started with SheCodes, everything was completely foreign to me, I was learning a new language. At this point, although still a challenge, it feels more familiar as I learn and absorb all these new skills. I am excited to move on SheCodes Reactive.
The lessons are great and the perfect length. You get a lot of information without being overwhelmed.
Coming from a nontechnical background, Shecodes has been a great starting point for me. They have made learning code less intimating and easy to understand. They have also assisted with growing my portfolio with the projects and assignments we completed through out the workshop.
