Really fun add-on to the courses! It was super interesting to learn how to access AI through our code and start thinking about everything you can create with AI.

I would like to say Thank you Matt, in just a few weeks I have learned the basics and I am loving each and every step even though it's not easy sometimes but the love of coding kept me going.

My SheCodes journey has been an exciting and empowering experience, taking me from a complete novice to confidently writing code in just a few weeks. Despite moments of doubt and procrastination, I've learned to push through challenges, especially in JavaScript, while celebrating small victories. SheCodes Basic is a fantastic workshop for women to learn basic coding skills, with an opportunity to add more courses in advanced coding to prepare for professional employment or for personal use in creative website development. It is backed by an extensive coding team and lots of peripheral pages for color styles, uploads, videos, and many outlined examples with helpful information. I highly recommend SheCodes for women who want to learn computer coding.

Very enjoyable

Although there was not much new information in this workshop that we hadn't learned in the first React workshop, it was really useful to consolidate my learning and practise my new-found skills. API integration in particular is really tricky, so it was useful to work with some different APIs and get advice for troubleshooting. Thanks again SheCodes for another great learning experience!

I'm so excited to have taken my first steps into the world of coding with SheCodes! This program has been quite an exciting, frustrating and finally fulfilling challenge (after I got the concepts right!). It was more highs than lows though. This course will enhance your skills in web development, particularly in responsive design, I highly recommend this workshop. It's a game-changer for anyone new to the field or wanting to refine their skills! it was incredibly helpful! The session was well-structured and the hands-on exercises were especially valuable as always.

This project was a challenging yet rewarding experience for me. I faced difficulties working with React, especially when trying to deploy to Netlify, and encountered issues with fetching data from OpenWeather. Despite these challenges, I thoroughly enjoyed the process and learned a lot along the way.

SheCodes made my coding experience easy. Matt (the instructor) explain things very well, he made me understand and love coding. I'm excited to learn more.😊

Python Advanced introduces how Python is deployed in business settings and gives 'real life' scenarios about tasks and challenges a developer/coder might come across. I was particularly interested in the data visualisations and the css/api integrations. Again, Matt's teaching and his ability to 'decode' tech speak into easily understandable language really helps with getting to grips with Python concepts and fundamentals.

I had a such a wonderful time learning all about AI and TS.

The program was challenging but incredibly rewarding, I learned so much about APIs, The supportive community and hands-on projects kept me motivated throughout. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to kickstart their coding journey!

I’m proud to have completed the Responsive Coding Workshop, even after having to adjust the start date multiple times. It was an exciting experience learning how to make websites responsive across all screen sizes. I enjoyed the process and feel much more confident in creating websites that work seamlessly on any device.

As a beginner in coding, I was a bit nervous about starting the SheCodes workshop. However, the supportive community and clear instructions made the learning process enjoyable and manageable. "Starting SheCodes Plus as a complete beginner in coding felt overwhelming at first. Every line of code, every concept, and every new tool seemed like a mountain to climb. I remember struggling with things as simple as syntax and feeling lost whenever I hit a bug I couldn't immediately solve. But step by step, SheCodes taught me to persevere.

I really enjoy the hands-on approach of hese classes. Building real projects from scratch really reinforces what we’re taught. It's rewarding to see something come together. The course keeps me motivated and excited to continue coding.

It was so much fun to do the challenges and I learned a lot of useful things that I can apply at work. 😍 I wish I'd known about it earlier. 😊

I enjoyed this workshop, because I am in the process of discovering my likes and dislikes about the programming field. I also appreciated very much the flexibility about deadlines extensions, being my first time learning about coding , extensions really helped me to fit my learning into my schedule and life situations ( I was even sick in the middle, and SheCodes was very flexible to help me stay on track and achieve my goals by allowing extra extensions). Everything on the site works very well, I particularly took notice of all the extra resources offered with each lesson, they really supported my learning and encouraged me to look further and get a better understanding of the different topics. This workshop also opened a door for the universe of colours, one of the lessons about styling gave us a good foundation about colours, this knowledge is very useful not only for coding but also for photoshopping, which I've always been interested in learning as a hobby.

Learning a second language (Python) having learned Javascript already at SheCodes showed me how much I know already and how well the workshops are taught. I feel like I just started learning, however there are so many things that are so familiar to me already. Can't wait to dive into Python Advanced and keep learning!

This section has given me in depth a better understanding of JavaScript. Which I feared I was never going to get the hang of it. I was able to troubleshoot most bugs I was encountering based on the content of the videos but also help from the team. I will say this project provides a big example of powerful functionality. Furthermore, I can say I feel more confident in moving forward with my coding journey thanks to Matt and the team.

I absolute enjoyed going through all the plus exercises and the team was so helpful and responded quickly because there were some things that I struggled with and have the team so readily available and happy to help made studying all the more enjoyable.

I learnt a lot of JavaScript in this workshop, i would encourage any woman who wants to learn JavaScript at a deeper level to enroll.

Some concepts are still unclear, but having ongoing access will help solidify my understanding over time. Practical Implementation: The course is hands-on, gradually applying learned concepts through practical exercises. Comprehensive Coverage: It covers a wide range of topics, from basic principles to advanced techniques, with generally clear materials. Support: The Slack group provides help when stuck. Overall, it's a good course that requires additional practice to build confidence, as mastery comes through repetition.

I have always wanted to learn how to code, however the opportunity was out of reach until I joined SheCodes. I am grateful to SheCodes for this incredible opportunity to learn. The end goal is to be a great developer.

The SheCodes Plus was a bit challenging since we're getting into more advanced programming but with patience, more practice and applying it in my personal projects worked for me. This chapter was exciting and I can't wait for the next one.

The React course was a fantastic deep dive into building dynamic and interactive web applications. I especially enjoyed creating a weather app as part of the curriculum, which helped me grasp key concepts like state management, API integration, and React hooks. The responsive development course was an incredible learning experience! It taught me the core principles of creating websites that look great and function seamlessly on any device. As part of the course, I built a complete travel website, which was a fantastic project to apply my new skills.
