As a SheCodes Plus graduate, I was thrilled to continue my coding journey with SheCodes Responsive. Such a great course! I learnt so much! The important aspects of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript were taught very well through bitesize videos, rather than tutorials that were hours long. This made the experience less overwhelming and the information easier to digest. Great for those with shorter attention spans! The structure of the curriculum made it easy to refer to past videos when working on a later project. This course has provided me with a solid foundation to build upon.

SheCodes Responsive was so much fun. I had fun doing every lesson, challenge and homework. It was particularly exciting opening a website on my phone and see that I made it responsive. Will definitely be using the knowledge acquired here on every other website I code.
It was a great experience to start learning coding with this course! If you're new in this field, like me, be sure that you have a step-by-step guide through basic HTML, CSS, and JS in an amazing community of instructors, mentors and students. Also, you are going to do lots of fun challenges, homework, and projects, which makes it very practical.
I was recently at a point in my life of not having a clue what to do next. Having no real academic qualifications but plenty of knowledge and experience in many fields, I realised that the technological world is one I'm not great with, yet know it is essential for the future. So, I started looking for different career options and came across a free coding class by SheCodes. I was interested and intrigued immediately and, later that day, I signed up for the full lot!! - SheCodes Max. I am all in 💪 and super excited to get a new career going. Completing SheCodes Basics I have learnt so much and even though the tasks are not easy (for a complete beginner like me😅), I really enjoyed completing them. Matt is great too!! SheCodes basics was a freshening reminder of the little coding knowledge I had. The way Matt explains things so directly and understandably, with technical but also, very understandable and non-technical explanations, just eased this right in for me. I had a bit of a harder time because of the little time I had to work on this, but as the course progressed, my passion for each challenge and homework increased, until I decided to be creative and have fun with my project as well. It was a challenge, trying to figure out how to exactly turn my idea to life, and I was able to! :) The help of all the tutors, the guide of Matt, and the realization that this is something I want to do from now on led me here, and I wouldn't change it for a thing. Taking this add-on after venturing into React for the first time in the React workshop was great additional practice for me. This mini workshop helped me cement React concepts (how components work and how they connect/how to troubleshoot) and made me more comfortable with applying this to my own projects. Seeing the instructor work out bugs on the tutorials (the thinking process and steps he takes) helped me with doing my own debugging. I have thoroughly enjoyed all the workshop SheCodes has to offer.
I have always wanted to do something in IT, but didn't know what until I came across SheCodes! I have really enjoyed learning to code. I am not the best with learning, I am more of a visual leaner, I can understand better with pictures and videos, and Matt has made it easy and enjoyable to do so! This workshop has pumped me up and ignited my mind and heart for the love of coding! 🤩🙌
Great lessons and easy to follow!
I started this course with zero knowledge or experience. There were times when I felt like an imposter but I took notes, referred back to them constantly, and rewatched videos. After watching myself apply the information I was learning, I was was truly amazed at how much I was retaining in such a short amount of time. I'm excited to keep going and learn more!
Loved returning to SheCodes for the Max program! Wanted to build a dictionary app and following Matt's tutorials helped where I was stuck! Highly recommened!

I signed up to SheCodes so that I could expand my knowledge on a brand new skill to me. Recently, I have realised that I was no longer learning anything new within my retail job so I decided to take on the challenge of coding and so far I am really enjoying it! I was skeptical as to whether I would understand anything but so far, I am impressed with how much I have learnt. Thanks to the in depth lessons provided by Matt, I have made a silly, but functioning page which I am pretty pleased about.

This course has been a real journey! It was a challenge at parts but Matts way of teaching really helped me to understand everything. The course content is great and contains a lot of topics and useful information that you can take into a career with coding. Ladies and non-binary folks, if you're looking to get your feet wet in the world of coding, SheCodes is where it's at! I recently completed their Basics course, and had such a great time that I decided to level up and try out their SheCodes Plus program. Let me tell you, some of those later sections were a real brain-bender, but the experience was totally worth it. If you're a newbie to coding, I'd definitely recommend practicing your JavaScript skills and dabbling with APIs a bit before diving in. But with a little bit of elbow grease and a lot of patience, you'll be coding up a storm in no time. A huge shoutout to Matt and the whole SheCodes team for putting together such a fantastic program - you guys rock!
The program was really easy to follow even for a beginner like me. Matt was able to teach the concepts in a fun way, and I love that there were challenges and projects to really gauge if the student understood the lessons!

I have always wanted to learn how to code and have tried self learning but never found the right place to start. This was a great introduction to HTML, CSS and JavaScript and I have learned so much in a short time with the weekly projects and deadlines.

Fun way to learn javascript and APIs
The course was great and really explained the use of APIs and Bootstrap and how to implement them in my work. I can really recommend this course for those who want to dive deeper in web developing and take their work to a new level.
I love that they taught me how to create a landing page with a light and dark mode to display on my portfolio site.

I'm so happy that I could finish this journey. React was so strange at the beginning but it got better and better after learning each course. I have to thank Matt for his great mindset in supporting women in Tech and establishing SheCodes as well as the SheCodes team for their patience and good attitude.
A lot of new concepts and quite a bit more challenging than the Basic course. Well structured, step by step guidance. Bootstrap and JavaScript in some parts seem rushed and could do with more detailed explanation, SheCodes only will not be enough. This is just a beginning.

This was a great project. I found it very beneficial to have previously done this weather app in JavaScript before doing it in React.
I thought that I would not like coding but I was happily surprised that not only did I enjoy it but I also learned some valuable skills along the way!
I really enjoyed being able to create a functional weather application with SheCodes Plus! There were a lot of points where I felt we only hit surface level, especially with JavaScript. I found myself having to research a lot of concepts on my own. I feel like my understanding of functions, parameters, objects, and arrays are still elementary, but perhaps this is all part of the learning process. Start with small bites and dig deeper as we go and learning to help yourself. I played around with using the old API and the new one provided by SheCodes and feel like I have a good grasp on API integrations though. All in all this was a good beginner course and maybe I just need to review the course again.
Before I got acquainted with SheCodes, I always thought that learning programming was very difficult, but with the help of SheCodes, I learned very well. I really enjoyed this course.
