SheCodes workshop helps me to gain knowledge in coding. It gave me confidence to accomplish my goal in the coming years to come. I am looking forward to learn more so I would be able to confidently use it for my future career.
I really recommend this course, before doing it I didn't know anything and I thought it was something very difficult to learn, but with practice I realized that it is possible to learn step by step.

I only just took the dive into trying coding after thinking it was cool for ages, and I am loving it! I hope to move my career into web development and make coding my full-time career! SheCodes provided me this opportunity and honestly, without a program like this, I probably wouldn't have tried it or been as enthusiastic. There are so many resources on SheCodes that can easily make it a playground for coding! The Slack group chats are very helpful too whenever I find myself stuck on something. As an aspiring developer, I look forward to learning more from this community and the lessons made by Matt!

There are many different options for learning to code but as a very busy woman with minimal free time, I decided to go with she codes and i'm very thankful that I did. Not only are there countless testimonies of women absolutely loving the program, for good reasons of course, those same alumni are the ones there for 24/7 helping you through the course when you need help. I've loved learning again at my age, it's been fascinating working behind the scenes after being a graphic designer since the late 80s. I am super impressed with the set up of SheCodes and the very clear way in which the fantastic tutor, Matt, is able to explain the most seemingly confusing new language of numbers, letters and punctuation marks. I highly recommend this course, not just for those seeking a new career in coding but to widen your knowledge and have a better understanding of what your web designers do all day!

I was really nervous starting out at the workshop and I thought it would difficult for me but it has actually been the opposite. I have enjoyed every lesson so far and Matt has been a great teacher and the challenges have been super fun and very engaging! I had so much fun working on this add-on basics project. I loved how the lessons are structured for the week of this project and how I got to work on a specific CSS property after every lesson . So, when it was time to work on the final project, I had already done most of the work through challenges. LOVED it!

I had an absolutely fantastic learning experience with SheCodes! At first, I thought that it would be impossible for me to develop an entire weather app, but the process turned out to be incredibly captivating and enjoyable. I am very grateful to Matt for helping me learn how to code via Shecodes. I am a mom to an 8 month old baby and it was not easy having to attend class and take care of my baby at the same time. Very good and intensive course on building responsive websites. Great experience on how to work with all the aspects of HTML and CSS, Bootstrap and other web development tools. I have learned a lot of new skills. Perfect example how a web developer job could look like for a agency or small business.

Having completed the SheCodes Basics program, I was initially apprehensive about whether I would be able to keep up with the curriculum as it involved a new programming language (Javascript). However, from day one, Matt's lessons were comprehensive, the community was supportive. As I said in the previous testimonial I gave on completing the Basics, what I appreciated most about the SheCodes was the emphasis on hands-on, project-based learning. Instead of just reading about coding concepts in a textbook or watching lectures, we were actually coding from day one. Not only did this help solidify the concepts we were learning, but it also made the learning process more enjoyable and engaging. It's undeniable that there were hard times but going through the videos and working on the weekly projects helped me get better at it.
