Great for beginners perfect exercises and walk-through.
When I first started coding with sheCodes Basic I did not have any idea what I was doing. But after completing basics I got some confidence in coding. Also, I found it super fun thing to do. Today after completing the Plus workshop I feel like I have chose the prefect career for me, all thanks to SheCodes and Matt. The way this workshop is designed is awesome from basics to advance level. The online slack community is very useful, whenever I get any confusion I ask question on the slack and someone from the team get back to me really fast. Recently they have introduced Athena AI which I believe is super cool and useful feature. She could even write you a code if you are not sure how or from where to start. I am really very excited to start my next workshop- SheCodes Responsive😃.
The responsive add-on project was a lot of fun!
This workshop was a great way to review what was taught in the main Responsive Course. I did get a little burnout along the way and had to take a long break before submitting my project, but thankfully, I was able to push through and complete it. Overall, I still enjoyed this workshop and all the skills reviewed here.

it was an interesting experience🥰 i really enjoyed learning responsiveness using both the normal method and bootstrap. Though it can be time consuming but Matt is an amazing teacher 👨💻 and with what i have learnt i have gotten the courage to bid for freelancing works as a web developer. can't wait to learn Reactjs. Super-excited!!!
I dont think I can express how much I have learned in SheCodes Responsive. It has been an amazing journey so far, and I'm so grateful to the SheCodes team for producing such quality content, and to Matt for being once again an amazing instructor.

I really enjoyed the coding workshop. The videos were very clear and slack was so useful when I couldn't work out what was wrong in my code. SheCodes Basics is the perfect introduction into coding and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who wonders what coding is about.

Working my way through the workshop with no experience in coding was actually really easy and even enjoyable. Once I got into the hang of it, it became a part of my weekly routine and I began to look forward to my evenings of working on my lessons while listening to SheCodes Radio (one of my favorite parts of the website tbh). As I continue to work through the other workshops, I can really see myself continuing down this path and pursuing a career in the tech world. I had been looking into other computer coding courses/bootcamps when I saw the ad for SheCodes and I really do think this was the best fit for me in comparison to the other programs. I feel like SheCodes is made for the students to succeed, from the flexible deadlines to the affordable monthly payments, that's what attracted me. I'm really thankful for these workshops and I am eager to see where this takes me.

I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics Workshop. I found the lessons clear, fun, and engaging. I already had some knowledge of HTML and CSS, and the workshop not only allowed me to refresh my previous knowledge but the explanations really helped to understand the languages more and cleared up some doubts that I had. The Javascript lesson is a great way to get into it, and I look forward to learning more in the upcoming workshops!

I've just started learning and I fell in love with the style of teaching that is provided by shecodes. It's easy to follow, I can go back and review as many times as I need without going through hours of video on things I don't need. It's easy to navigate and I'm enjoying learning with it.
React was very complicated and difficult, but by watching the videos step by step helped me to understand and learn how to develop with it.

As a person who has a hard time self-learning, especially with CS, SheCodes's short-video format and simplistic yet detailed-enough explanations really motivated me to start and develop my HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills. I especially love this class format with required challenges and homework to submit as it holds me accountable to learning coding skills associated with those languages very well, something I wouldn't necessarily have without this course.

Using API to build a weather app can be a little challenging but worth it along the line.

As a full-time working professional and a devoted mother, my days were already filled with numerous responsibilities and commitments. I had always been intrigued by the world of technology and coding but never found the time or the courage to pursue it. Learning with SheCodes is one of the best things that has ever happened to me. In these 3 weeks I have learned a lot, the way Matt teaches us how to code makes it seem incredibly easy and the best thing is that we can get help with specific questions in Slack. The SheCodes community is really supportive, which makes the experience that much better.
I've always searched for something that I could be passionate about! Now everyday I think about this, and since enrolling into the course, I haven't stopped thinking about my future as a web developer. I realized how much I enjoy coding even after the many trials and errors.

I wanted to see if coding is for me and through this workshop, I found that it is. The lessons were easy to follow and I can definitely say that I have learned a lot from them!
SheCodes was incredible teaching code on a simple but complete way. By the end of the 3 week workshop, I was able to understand a lot of concepts that before felt hard to assimilate. I also had a really good time doing the challenges and final project.
This Responsive Workshop has been a game-changer!!! Learning additional tips and tricks to enable projects to be Responsive has been incredible. I feel that I have watched my code improve overnight and the confidence I am gaining in my coding is the absolute best feeling!!! I highly recommend this workshop for anyone who is a beginner to coding or want to try new things. The style of coaching was self pace and effective, I am absolutely better and confident in what I can do now in terms of coding. Thank you so much to the shecodes Team.
Good introduction to basic HTML, CSS and Javascript. Videos and challenges are presented in a user friendly way however I think the support provided is lacking. Feedback on the homework is pre-defined responses with no personalisation. Whilst the Slack is good to seek help or to help other students, when the SheCode's staff get involved, they merely just fix the code for students without helping them understand what was wrong. I understand the principle of people trying to troubleshoot their own code and figure things out but for beginners, I think support to lay the foundations is very important. You could find all the information covered in this course online for free but if you're looking for the structure (which I was) it's a good starting point - albeit expensive for what it is.
This course has been extremely amazing to someone starting coding from basics! I have learned so much from it, and think that this is an amazing opportunity for women around the world to follow their dreams while on a tight schedule. Thank you Shecodes for this amazing experience. I now have the opportunity to follow my dreams while earning a living. There are a lot of sacrifices that you have to make in order to meet deadlines ,but it is absolutely worth every second.
