This was a really great introduction to the basics of HTML, JavaScript and CSS. I love the layout of the video class, followed by video instructions of the task and then video explanation. Really hands-on, practical learning and step-by-step guidance.
The SheCodes React workshop was quite challenging, but it helped me to realize how much I have progressed in my coding journey. It was a great help having videos for each step as well as a team of people always willing to help. Thank you SheCodes.
The Basic Add-on workshop was more then I expected and it really showcases what you can do with basic code!
I struggle with motivation when I don't have a group to study with but this has easily been the easiest course to stick to for me.

This course is a great opportunity to begin learning about React. This topic is not the easiest one, but with correct explanations and examples with your own way of solving these tasks makes you more interested in React js and experienced with basic stuff and useful tricks. βMy name is Sthandiwe Msweli from South Africa and my coding journey has been amazing. So before I started coding I graduated in Business and information Management and I was not happy with what I've studied but because I wanted to have a qualification and get a job so I can earn a living so I went on with it. Fast cracking my story after I graduated had no luck in finding a job so after a year, on my second year of staying at home without any luck of getting a job, I did a free trail in coding on some boot camp and I fall in love with it but to enroll to that boot camp you needed funding which I did not have. So I did my research and I ended up finding SheCodes Foundation that when I start my coding journey and it has been a wonderful journey and I thank the Lord for this opportunity and excited for more learning and more adventure in coding π plus I have completed my sheCodes course it was challenging but yet an amazing experience the fact that I now have a project that operates with real life data it amazes me I learnt a lot now I can call my self a programmer can not wait for the opportunities waiting for me in tech field β€οΈβ

My experience with the SheCodes React workshop has been both enlightening and challenging in the best possible way. React is a powerful JavaScript library, but I quickly realized that it's not the easiest thing to grasp. However, this workshop provided guidance and resources to help me navigate this complex world of front-end development.

Building a portfolio is a fun project to work on and I try not to be a perfectionist when it comes to responsive but it takes a bit of time to learn and build that kind of skills.

SheCodes was a good workshop for me as I have already learned how to code in school but never really understood why to use a certain element or how to use JavaScript functions. Even after delaying for months finishing up the lessons and projects, I have recently found myself going through everything fast as the lessons are very straightforward and fun, it has given me the motivation to get into coding again after a long burnout, therefore I do recommend it to anyone who has an interest or has been having difficulties on learning how to code.

I loved the theoretical building of a weather app and over the course of the course learning to implement real time features to make it an actual app with real data. I enjoyed learning how to use GitHub in combination with Visual Studio Code and getting to host my own page. The course perfectly build on prior knowledge of the Basics course and I had fun expending my coding skills.

Wow, I cannot believe I have completed the full Max curriculum! I have learnt so much since starting and can now create webpages and webapps with different coding languages and tools. I have to thank Matt Delac as his videos, challenges and homework have guided me to this point. It has been very fun (and hard at some points). I cannot recommend this course enough and look forward to a future with all this knowledge under my belt!
Before I started the SheCodes workshop, I was looking for a task in which I could immerse myself and get into the flow. And I know that I have definitely found that in coding now. The workshop was very good structured and the topics easy to understand and to learn. Especially the SheCodes AI Assistent helped me a lot to understand my mistakes and to improve my codes very fast. I am really happy for finding this wonderful online workshops and can highly recommend it.
