This workshop was more challenging than the basic course. Thanks to the help of the instructors with their clear and precise instructions, the learning process went quite easily and thus I do not fear coding as much as I did before. I can't say it was as easy as SheCodes basics, there were times I wanted to cry and give up because I couldn't identify where I went wrong, but then I decided to code as Matt explains in the background and I couldn't be happier. Taking coding step by step, fixing issues one at a time has really helped me grasp onto concepts better than what I was doing before. I believe I am the next best Woman in Tech thanks to SheCodes team and especially Matt.

Everything was easy to understand. Finishing a task and seeing my hard work on a live website was very fulfilling. I am very eager to learn more about the ins and outs of HTML and CSS and apply what I learn in creating more aesthetically appealing but great user-experience websites.

React coding workshop was another level of coding, and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to get their hands dirty. Trust me, it is worth it, and you will gain a lot of experience and knowledge.
What an amazing course, it was great to get the general idea of coding. I was not sure what to expect but if you are wondering if should - YOU SHOULD! I did not think we would get so much information and the lessons are really well developed and structured, you can spend as much or as little time as needed. Once started you will be hooked.
This is probably the best thing I have ever done for myself. Learning these skills has been one of the most rewarding experiences. I love that I am challenging myself. The lessons made it so you still had to figure things out for yourself, which really makes figuring things out yourself an even more satisfying experience.

Hi😊 I am Olwethu, a student from South Africa. I have always been fascinated by coding, and it has been a goal of mine to learn how to code. I am really grateful to SheCodes for creating such an opportunity for women to learn to code, a goal that I thought would be unattainable has become attainable. I have thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and task that we have done, I am always showing my loved ones my projects and the new skills that have learnt. Furthermore, coding has become my escape, whenever I am stressed by my academics and other things happening around me coding has helped in relieving my stress and anxiety. I hope that all the skills and knowledge I am gaining from SheCodes will help me gain opportunities in the tech industry.
The Basics Add-On went further into Basics course material, and the fundamentals I had previously learned allowed me to easily grasp and apply the new techniques presented.
For me it was very challenging but in the end I still cannot believe i designed my own weather app . . Matt was able to simplify each lesson and the team were very supportive in answering our question when we were stuck . I highly recommend this workshop to any one who wants to gain a new skill

The format of the course & each lesson & class have been tremendously helpful & beneficial, allowing me to follow along with Matt & replicate what he's doing. Any time I face an error I can rewind to double check my work. Athena the AI has also been tremendously helpful resource! The team on Slack were AMAZING! And the open channels & communication really helped. I would search there as a first step and found that there were reoccurring mistake themes we all faced collectively; made me feel like I'm not alone ha-ha! I'm definitely excited to learn more
