SheCodes Coding Workshop Reviews

Only a week ago I completed my SheCodes Basics project but I have learnt so much since! I'm mightily impressed by the sheer amount of new coding techniques this last week's course content has delivered. The SheCodes Basics Add-on is well worth it. I've thoroughly enjoyed honing the skills I picked up in Basics as well as adding more to the mix. So proud of my image grid and my "Change Theme" button!

During the last week of the course, I was randomly browsing for shoes and saw a picture not being neatly aligned on a retailer's website. Guess what, in front of my eyes I saw the code and knew how to correct the faux-pas. That was a great feeling! Thanks SheCodes!

I am so happy. I can't even describe the emotions. This has been a remarkable coding journey filled with challenging determination to learn and understand. Matt has been a great teacher who will always prepare us for the next challenge through encouragement and learning tips. I am forever grateful to you Matt and The SheCodes Foundation for the life-changing opportunity that I will never take for granted, and to the SheCodes team I say thank you to you all for your support always. I recently completed SheCodes for beginners, and I cannot praise it enough! From the supportive and empowering community to the top-notch curriculum, this mini-course truly exceeded my expectations. I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basic workshop - it was very easy to follow and I liked how some of the tasks required a bit of research too. I feel much more confident about coding now.

SheCodes is simply the best platform for learning how to code. It takes all coding lessons from scratch. I love SheCodes.

For anyone can learning code as long keep motivated and have interested to do it ! almost every video that given by matt, he inserted words that make me keep motivated such as "Don't worry it looks like difficult but actually not, its gonna be ok etc"

Great course. Some of the lessons are repetitive but I guess that it is nice if you are doing the course at a slower pace. The project is great. Now I have a portfolio website to show off my skills :)

My master class is over. It was a long way from HTML to React. It was difficult, but very interesting. If you had any questions, you could always turn to Slack for help and be sure that they would definitely help you. Of course, I will recommend this course to my friends if they are interested in programming.

SheCodes has been so enjoyable! Matt makes each lesson so clear to follow, I feel I've learnt so much in in just 3 weeks. Would definitely recommend SheCodes.

If you want to take your first steps in programming and don't know where to start, SheCodes Basics is the right place for you. I'd never imagined writing a code would be so entertaining and enjoyable instead of dull and tedious. The most exciting part of SheCodes Basics is that within three weeks (four weeks in case of taking SheCodes Basics Add-On), you'll be able to put everything you've learned throughout the course into practice and build a page.

This workshop was very difficult and a great challenge but it was worth it

Learn coding with SheCodes has been an incredible platform for expanding my knowledge and skills. The course are well-structured and more easier to understand for someone like me with 0 knowladge about coding. I really enjoyed and of course i will continue the next lesson

After finishing SheCodes Responsive I decided to catch up on the SheCodes Basics Add-On. I enjoyed the workshop very much. It was fun to learn about the transform technique and I was able to practise some things from the previous workshops straight away. Again: I highly recommend! Thank you for the learning experience.

Greatly enjoyed the SheCodes add-on project. It has helped me to further understand techniques used in HTML, CSS and JS to display content and to animate pages to show different effects. Thanks again to everyone @Shecodes and @MattDelac for creating this incredible platform!

She codes provided a platform for me to sharpen my programming skills. The classes are easy to understand and the assignments and projects provide us with an opportunity to reflect on what we have learnt.

I enjoyed learning the fundamentals of HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The project was fun but challenging in a comfortable way. I can finally say I can create a landing page!

Completing the SheCodes basic workshop has been an interesting and enjoyable experience. It has opened my eyes to what goes on behind every webpage, and I'm now armed with new tools to approach projects at work.

I am very grateful to Matt and his team for the continuous support. The knowledge I got from SheCodes thus far is what I would have paid thousands for, I am happy that I got the opportunity and I am cruising nicely.

Trying to switch to a whole other industry is very intimidating. When I first discovered SheCodes, I was nervous and was not sure if I would be able to keep up with the pace. Their program and how it is set out has made it so much easier and all the more possible for me to transition into the tech industry!

I love the this lesson about building responsive website and adapting it to any mobile device. This was not an easy project but through Matt's video showing step by step on how to do it and the team support i was able to push through and complete my project Thank you so much She Code ! . It was very exciting to learn something from scratch! I have never done any kind of coding before SheCodes and to be able to complete this was really amazing. It was challenging and fun to learn all the JS techniques. The support you get from the team is great. I will keep going until I complete the full course. It's like once you start, you can't stop.

As a student who is constantly trying to expand her skillset, SheCodes is definitely one of the best platforms I have encountered. Very detailed and easy to follow and understand.

There were some insights that I can use in the future for my application process, such as the Chrome extensions and the event pages.

This add-on course: SheCodes Responsive is a good practical exercise of what we have learned so far, and that is making the website responsive to different media sizes.

Finally! I couldn't be happier to have completed this part of the amazing SheCodes workshops. It took me much longer than most people, I was in a really dark place mentally, and even though it was hard, I did keep pushing (pun intented) and I am extremely joyful that I did. I learned so much more about JavaScript, got acquainted with GitHub, Axios and APIs. Understood the importance of an organized code, now I'm confident that the flexibility of the code always comes first and beats aesthetics. Overall, I'm ecstatic to have learnt so much, and now I'm even closer to the world of coding! Thanks to the SheCodes Team for making it possible!

She codes has been such a wonderful starting place for me! I hadn't ever done anything with coding prior to starting this program and I was a little bit nervous I wouldn't understand. This course was a perfect reminder of everything taught in the initial basics course. The add-on course provided additional knowledge regarding CSS and JavaScript and was overall a really fun course to participate in whilst gaining technical and practical knowledge.

I really enjoyed studying. I used to think that coding is very difficult and boring, but after this course I realized that it is not so at all. There was a lot of information, but everything was pretty clear. Now I have basic html, css and javascript skills 💪

Good class

Coding first sparked an interest for me when i learnt that i could express myself creatively through it. The conventional coding career requires you to have good math's marks,something i unfortunately did not achieve in my highschool days. SheCodes has given me the opportunity to do so without those constraints. Thank you SheCodes :)

I loved this workshop, it helped me to improve my JS skills a lot. I found it quite challenging and specially interesting, it was my favourite so far.

I had so much fun learning html, css, and javascript. The occasional bumps in the road did happen, but I had access to all the tools I needed to find the solutions. This is a wonderful workshop and I'm excited to move on and keep learning more!

I learn lots of CSS properties in She Codes basic add-on.

IT WAS AWESOME! no seriously it was, i have watched so many tutorials but Shecodes is something else. and the way it teaches us an important subject like APIs; marvelous. i don't want to sugarcoat it , but it was a bit harder to grasp compared to Basics but Matt made it all so easy. best workshop ever.

I jumped right into this one after completing the SheCodes Basics workshop, and I learned a lot of useful techniques to refine and improve what I had already learned. Handing in a second project is also great practice. Would highly recommend. :)

The classes are very well taught and the practical sessions make one confident to write code all by themselves. The classes are structured in a way that you can dedicate some time daily regardless of how busy your schedule is.

This was so much fun! I loved how the lessons built on each other, and the exercises were short steps so I could follow very well how it all came together! It was a relief to be able to get one extension, as I needed to spend more time on some exercises, and now I believe I got what it takes to continue!

How the workshops are structured is phenomenal, the fundamentals on web development are perfect for a beginner.
