SheCodes Basic wasn't always easy, but the easy access to support, the well-made videos, the challenges/homework, and flexible yet straightforward structure with deadlines made it doable. I struggle with self-learning, but this structure was a good educational setup with autonomy. It was fun also. I highly recommend SheCodes!!
The React Add-on project was a great way to learn how to 1) fetch data from multiple APIs and render it in the same application and 2) go through the process of trial-and-error-ing different public APIs that best suit your application.

The plus workshop really improved my coding skills! Going into it I didn't see how I would ever be able to create a weather app myself from scratch but Matt's tutorials are extremely clear and easy to follow going through it step by step and I have learnt so much over this workshop! Learning to code with SheCodes has been both exciting and very educational. When I started learning WordPress, I was very nervous because I was branching into a new field, from a completely different field, Linguistics. But it turned out to be life-changing, and something I immediately fell in love with. Then I learned coding made work even more exciting and gave variety. I had to hop on it too. I was introduced to SheCodes, and I got the best head start and knowledge on coding using HTML, CSS, and javascript. This was one of my best experiences. Having to juggle between school work and SheCodes was not easy especially during exams. Matt is the best teacher because he explains everything vividly and I also love the fact that lessons are pre-recorded. Some of the challenges were a bit challenging but that's what made the journey exciting. I love it here!
Great course building on the basics course!
Teaching was clear and concise. The projects gave you a good amount of challenge and I was able to pick up the information very quickly.
The course is helpful - but depends on the student. After a while the format becomes repetitive and a bit boring - not the content but the format in which the content is learned. But, recommended to begin exploring and learning about web development.
SheCodes is a good platform to learn. I enjoyed the tutorial and it's well explanatory with good examples. I would recommend this platform for anyone that need a mentor on web development

Understanding how React works, especially its component system, was a real challenge for me. Thankfully, with the fantastic guidance from Matt, I managed to grasp everything and create my own Weather Forecast, which I'm incredibly proud of!
