Think the help and support from the team on slack is great. Only thing i would say, because the videos are pre recorded, sometimes when Matt is speaking and going on a slight tangent, it gets a little confusing, and sometimes I need things explaining in a different way. A way that might be different to how Matt explains, so the information isn't really sticking as well as i would like.

I haven't coded in what feels like centuries. It is different from learning to ride a bike or driving a car; once you stop practicing, the skill is gone. So I made a promise to myself that I would learn coding once more, and I needed a great bootcamp or short course to meet all the learning requirements I set for myself as a web developer. I cannot believe I created a whole landing page by myself. I am utterly grateful to SheCodes and Instructor Matt.
Iβm very happy I started this workshop with SheCodes. I first came across coding back in college since then i have been looking for the opportunity to furthermore in it and join a workshop that will be suitable for me. Matt did a Good job with the explanations .

In the SheCodes React course I learned to develop web applications using the React library. The teacher explains the material well and clearly, making complex React concepts accessible even to those just starting to develop. His approach to teaching really helps you learn the fundamentals of React and put them into practice. I really liked that the course was completely practical, which made it easier to understand. A starter peek into coding cannot be more simplified or organized than SheCodes Introduction. If you are thinking to get out of your comfort zone, I recommend to start with this one. It's going to make your learning appetizing!
When I enrolled in this course I was on holiday from Med school and wanted to learn a little something on the side that wouldn't be too tasking and also allowed me to have fun while learning. That's when my friend send me a link to SheCodes. The tech community is so overrun with men that i never wanted to get into the community as women are usually shadows in the art. I loved how the platform was made just for women and it provided a safe space while learning, It helped you take your time and also was very flexible in terms of how fast you work. This is a course you can do over your own time and also you can spend even 30 minutes of your day to attend a few lessons. Everything was made easy and when things got hard you could ask your friends on the slack platform or the Athena AI which made learning so much easier. I'm glad I took the time to enroll into this short course and I'll definitely be back for more.

Never in million years would I think I will learn to love coding But after taking SheCodes 3 Week workshops I'm starting to love it!
The SheCodes responsive project stood out as my favorite. It was a valuable learning experience in crafting organized portfolios and ensuring websites are seamlessly responsive. This project honed my skills in creating adaptable and user-friendly web designs, adding a significant layer to my coding expertise.
This additional training deepened my understanding and usage of CSS properties and the interplay between HTML and JavaScript. The skills were layered on in a very effective way to not overwhelm the learner and I now have the absolute confidence to create a beautiful and functional landing page for straightforward requests!
I never would've thought that I could make a website page from scratch. I had so much fun bringing my code to life! The lessons were great extensions of the Basics course and it definitely brought out the creative side of me.

I like the fact they teach us how to make a responsive website without using Bootstrap, because you never know if Bootstrap goes down/under repair or if you have an interview, where they want you to build a website without "outside help". This also helped with translating a Figma design to pure HTML and CSS. I like making websites but I take much longer than what I should because I want to make sure it looks perfect.

Phew! It's a lot of work, but I am now at the end of my SheCodes Responsive add-on project. This was an enjoyable website landing page to create. I adapted my context to fit in with my own travelled destination and therefore found it more personal in some sense to relate to. I have learnt more and am continuing to build on previous knowledge.
