I thoroughly enjoyed following the SheCodes Responsive workshop. It felt like everything I had learned so far came together in the final project. Learning Bootstrap and creating my portfolio website felt like a huge milestone, as I can now share what I've been learning and working on with my network!

This workshop teaches some amazing concepts on how to make a website responsive to different screen sizes. It explores Bootstrap, multiple page hosting and Git - which have all made my frontend development skills all the more better. Loved this experience and would 10/10 recommend!

It was great to refresh my coding skills with this new add-on workshop. I did it in one day, just could not stop coding. Using CSS grid and animations, as well as changing theme with Java Script are great additions to my web developer skill set. Really enjoyed this little project which helped me to finally put together all my favourite coding resources. Matt managed to explain concepts in his usual easy-to-understand manner. I had a lot of fun choosing images, picking colour palette, playing around with different types of animations and filters. Coding is addicting!

Basics Add-On was a great continuation of the Basics course.
This workshop focused on building responsive websites that work seamlessly across all devices, as well as creating multi-page sites from the ground up. I got to build on what I already knew with HTML, CSS, VSCode, and Git/GitHubβplus took a deeper dive into advanced Bootstrap (specifically: grid concepts, utility classes), Flexbox, CSS media queries, multiple page hosting, SEO, and more. It was definitely a challenge at times, but the final project really helped solidify the concepts that I had learned in this workshop; particularly when it came to Bootstrap, utility classes, and CSS media queries. Creating a multi-page portfolio that is optimized for responsivity across multiple devices required a lot of repetition and tweaking, which helped the knowledge sink in. Iβm excited to keep the momentum going by starting the Responsive add-on for this workshop before diving into React. I also look forward to presenting and growing my portfolio with previous projects that I've built, projects that reflect my personal interests, and eventually showcasing real-world client work that will evolve alongside my growing skill set.
