I really enjoyed the SheCodes Basics workshop. I've had some experience with HTML/CSS prior to the workshop, but it's been great to refresh my memory and learn a few new things. I really liked Matt's approach to JavaScript, since this was the subject that I was most worried about. But the lessons are understandable, and after a few exercises I've got the hang of it.

I have just completed Shecodes Plus, and I must say, it was an incredible experience. SheCodes is an amazing experience. Matt’s lessons are thorough, step by step and help you learn how to organize your code. You’ll learn by doing and receive excellent support along the way. I was always very curious about coding and wanted to see if it was something I could learn. I took the free class to get some insight and found that Matt is a fantastic instructor and gave my the confidence to take the Basics class. I have enjoyed the past 3 weeks so much that I want to continue my coding journey. There are so many avenues of support you can receive so you never feel alone throughout the course.
AI has always made me nervous and I never took the time to learn it because I would get stressed out. This course made AI easier to understand and exciting! I cannot wait to continue to learn. I also loved the final project I had the opportunity to work on!

I really appreciate that this add on went in depth on how to make a website more aesthetic and increased my knowledge on how to do themes. I was worried about the final project, but with Matt walking us through I had a lot more confidence.
After making the decision to make a change in my career path, I was introduced to SheCodes by my friend. It was definitely a great way to be introduced to this field. Even though this was just the basics, I enjoyed being able to create projects with what I have learned. It got overwhelming at times with the challenges but with the help of their lessons I was able to easily access and review them. SheCodes plus workshop is a blust🥳.. I started with basics and I was hooked, I fell inlove with coding then moved to plus and it has been a challenging and fun journey. I have learnt so much from the plus workshop, I have acquired many new skills and ultimately created a weather app that utilises real life data 💻. I had such a great time doing the SheCodes basic course. I had zero knowledge about coding but this course has been a great first step in being introduced to front-end coding. I found myself looking forward to it once I finished with my day job. The lessons were easy to follow and there's a ton of resources you can use. The staff on Slack were very helpful, as well as the other students in the community.
Joyful in my journey as a front-end developer, but bittersweet as I finish my last SheCodes lesson.

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop! The lessons were easy to follow, the challenges help reinforce everything we learned, and being able to follow along with Matt during our project was a HUGE help. The support on slack is also amazing! Any time I was stuck or unsure of how to fix my code, the tech admins and others really did a great job at giving great advice and instruction to help fix coding issues. I highly recommend SheCodes to anyone wanting to learn the basics of code, it's so worth it!

The use of components and hooks are definitely a significant use for utilizing React. I hope to review once again in other practices and projects to pursue my coding endeavors. It helps a great deal when managing a lot of functions.

Great little workshop to get more familiar with time and date inputs. I was very happy to see that there are fairly easier ways of displaying local time as well as fetching data for other time zones. Even though it felt pretty quick to get through, I feel like I gained a lot from it.

I was very happy to see that this AI workshop was added as an add-on. Working and coding with AI is something that I didn't plan on diving into until later down the road but this was a very easy and concise introduction to using AI in your code. Really enjoyed this add-on and learned some new tricks. Highly recommend!
The plus class was really challenging But I was able to learn alot of things. Coding is indeed fun when you put your mind to it.

Using advanced HTML and CSS in my artists project was a really fun experience as I have used one of my inspirational idols for this project. Overall, even though there were some challenges, I was able to overcome them with the support given to me.
