SheCodes Responsive has been a great course to teach me how to build responsive websites from scratch.
Fun but challenging Project! Learned a lot of new things and developed my first World Clock.
I have never taken any coding classes before SheCodes as I am a registered nurse, but after starting my hobby of building replica Star Wars droids I found it was useful to learn some basic coding. I started with some Arduino projects which I really enjoy so I was looking to learn some new computer languages. SheCode was fun and helpful by having homework that made me apply what I was learning with each lesson. I hope to keep on building what I learned in the basics course.
It was a great experience it did get a little challenging along the way but I kept at it and Here I am. I deployed a weather app that tells the weather all over the world. I coded HTML - CSS(my favorite part) and Java script. Ready for the next class. Loving this so far.

A short but comprehensive guide on making responsive sites, made the process of learning really easy and helped me understand it quickly. I especially appreciate the tip to write things manually as they surprisingly made the process faster than copying as I now remember what I typed out before.

This was an excellent starter course for people with no prior coding experience. The training videos are easy enough to follow along and comprehensive. I personally really enjoyed the repetitious coding challenges put in to place to make sure I understood what I had learned and to help retain information. Matt did an excellent job instructing in this workshop, keeping me engaged with lessons being short and to the point.

I learned from this workshop from SheCodes how to make a table with HTML and CSS, how to add filters to images, how to insert working movie clips from other websites and how to place everything neat next to each other by using grids. I have added this all to my new built website and I think it looks awesome. π
SheCodes Basics has been a positive experience. It's a great crash course on the basics of coding and you really get to learn all kinds of new terms. It can be a bit confusing at times, but there is a great community of Slacks for anyone who is confused.
Very structured curricullum, with good videos, a good AI and very good support through Slack. I tried other programs online, but ended up getting frustrated. I did not get frustrated this time!
SheCodes Plus was an excellent continuation of the SheCodes Basics workshop. It provided me with the opportunity to enhance my abilities and become more proficient in JavaScript, while also gaining knowledge on GitHub utilization and website hosting. I am looking forward to what the next workshop has in store for me!

I'm here before you today, permanently altered by the experience of learning React! I was recently immersed in the land of spaghetti code. JavaScript felt like a tangled mess, and creating user interfaces was a continual challenge. Updates often had unforeseen implications, and debugging felt like a guessing game. Then I discovered React,Β It wasn't a walk in the park but a new way of building web applications unfolded before me. React has empowered me to create a more enjoyable development experience and deliver better web applications. It was a great challenging experience.

React was the most challenging of the workshops for me. However, instructor Matt did a great job of explaining the concepts. He definitely has a gift for teaching! The project was a valuable tool for reinforcing the concepts. It is great to have a product to showcase what I learned.

I loved the workshop. I really enjoyed learning the API Intergrations even though it was challenging , but it was fun especially after solving some tasks.
βMatt does a great job of breaking the content down into digestible bites without overwhelming you. He is also realistic. He encourages you to use the resources available to you without trying to memorize every piece of code. I will definitely continue learning with SheCodes!β

SheCodes was a game-changer for me! I've done HTML, CSS, and javascript in high School and during my first year of uni but Matt was by the best instructor and made everything so simple to understand. I definitely enjoyed this course. The information is well put together in a way that is really easy to understand and being able to schedule when you want to start your lessons and delay them really made things so efficient for me as a student so I can work on my own pace and not feel overwhelmed.

I've always found the idea of coding a bit intimidating because off all the available languages and the fact that I didn't know where I would even start.
