This was a blast to work through and I am excited to add Ai to my tool belt. It was a fun project and I definitely see myself diving in deeper to see what else is possible to make with it.

SheCodes has helped me break into a new venture with ease. I have learnt so much in a short space of time, my knowledge has elevated and I am empwered as a young black woman who seeks to become a well-rounded and educated individual. Starting this programme has has brought so much joy into my academic life and I look forward to the oppertunies that will arise as I continue with this foundation as well as growth the new communities I have been invited into has brought me.

I have not coded since about circa 2000 when I was on myspace. I have a few girlfriends who are in tech. One of these friends has pushed me in particular in the last year. I've had a great time during the three weeks rekindling a passion I had for learning to code. This class was perfect length and price to see if I wanted to pursue coding further.
This was such a great workshop. Quite challenging but I loved the feeling after every lesson I completed and understood.

I did not have a working laptop for almost a year and I had to keep moving my start date. Finally my laptop started working and I moved my start date to the 1st of January 2024 to start the new year off. I have enjoyed these last 3 weeks, a little challenging and frustrating but enjoyable nonetheless.
Starting these workshops is always intimidating but I am constantly pleasantly surprised at how challenging it is but also so figure-outable. Matt is a great teacher, the slack community is great and now we have athena our own personal AI assistant. It is challenging but there are so many ways to help you through it. So it ends up being quiet exciting and encouraging to be a shecodes student.

This was my second attempt in my lifetime at learning how to code and I have never made it past HTML. SheCodes teaches bite-sized lessons with easy to follow material. Each lesson builds on the next so you will understand how HTML, CSS, and JavaScript interact with one another. There is plenty of support via Slack. I would HIGHLY recommend this course to anyone interested in building a strong foundation.

Nice little add-on! Useful and fun
I have tried various self-paced coding programs before starting SheCodes. SheCodes gives me the right amount of structure to complete my work on time, while still providing the freedom to learn outside of a 40+ hour work week. After just a few weeks I have already learned so many new skills!
I like how SheCode focuses on "making sure you understand the concept and help you build the code", rather than many other institutions where they focus on tedious syntax strictness and you can waste years just to fix a stupid bug on their highly invested outdated coding platforms.

It is so much fun building the code for these projects! I'm a big fan of CSS and was happy to add some of my own touch to the world clock project. It's amazing seeing how API and Moment work in real time too!

This is by far the easiest way to learn how to code. I have been trying to learn for months but it only took me a couple of weeks with SheCodes. It's also fun and very interesting because of the challenges. Loved it and would highly recommend!
Love learning and practicing with React
SheCodes Responsive was a lot more challenging, but still a good experience learning new material. This course encourages me to do more with the Add-on courses, and later to learn about React. I'm continually improving myself. I highly recommend trying more than one course!

The SheCodes Plus workshop has taught me so so much. There's no way in a million years that I thought I could learn code enough to create my own app. Now I am proud to say that I have learned the skills to create my own web application and I have a project to prove that. This workshop is filled with a wealth of information and you get to build your project from scratch right alongside Matt's teachings so you never feel lost. I highly recommend this workshop for those that are wanting to go from beginner to intermediate.
SheCodes helped me become proficient with basic coding in less time than I ever imagined. It was a great stepping stone to understand if I had an aptitude for more advanced types of coding. Now I cannot wait to learn more!!!

Think the help and support from the team on slack is great. Only thing i would say, because the videos are pre recorded, sometimes when Matt is speaking and going on a slight tangent, it gets a little confusing, and sometimes I need things explaining in a different way. A way that might be different to how Matt explains, so the information isn't really sticking as well as i would like.
