I loved this project and had so much fun building this website! I decided to use this opportunity to build a website for another business venture I'm interested in - Yoga teaching! I spent a bit of extra time making this project extra personal to me and feel so pleased with the result! I can't wait to see what I can do by the end of this course 💜

The best gift I've given myself to learn how to code with SheCodes. It's for absolute beginners, I've learned so much in Basic. Now I'm going all the way with Bootcamp. Participating in the coding workshop was an incredible experience. As someone with little programming background, I was initially nervous, but the instructors broke down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-follow steps. The hands-on exercises and real-time coding challenges helped me build confidence and truly understand the material. By the end of the workshop, I could write my own code and solve problems on my own. It was an empowering journey, and I feel much more prepared to continue my coding education

This was the most direct, simple course I have learnt. Matt made JavaScript so easy to grasp and learn. The short-timed classes helped with my attention span. It was so challenging for me to complete tasks because I have undiagnosed ADHD and in the process of school too, I am glad I did not give up. This certificate just motivated me even more to do better and plan my task timely. Thank you for this great opportunity. Coding feels like a solving a math equation - refreshing!

I have been wanting to learn coding for years but I didn't want to spend thousands of dollars and years getting a degree and most boot camps seemed really intimidating. I have loved the way that she codes teaches and I love how easy it is to fit into my day to day. I can't wait to continue learning with them!
This was a very informative workshop. I've code in Python for a couple of years now so I think that it did cover this basics very well and this was a very approachable way to learn this basics. I thought the API lessons were a good refresh for reading through json and integrating API with the programming language to make the interface more readable.

This course is great. It teaches really nice styling concepts in CSS and it's also a good refresher on JavaScript concepts learnt in the previous course. As usual, the lessons are all short and straight to the point.
The hands-on experience really helped me learn and understand the concepts better. Being able to apply what I was learning made everything clearer and more practical. The submission deadlines encouraged me to complete the assignments on time and move to the next stage, making it an interactive approach to learn and build :)

I really liked how this workshop was laid out. The project portion went step by step, building on the previous steps so if felt like the entire thing was working toward completing the project.

SheCodes Basics is the perfect course for anyone looking to start out learning how to code remotely in their own time. While I had already learned a bit of HTML and JavaScript before, I didn't really have a great understanding of how I can really use these languages. The thing I liked most about this particular course was the way it demonstrated how HTML, JavaScript and CSS are combined to create a functioning webpage. There are plenty of opportunities to apply and practice what you've learned. I'm a kinesthetic learner and this course really suited me - It boosted my confidence with coding languages and I can't wait to learn even more!

For many years, I saw languages like HTML, JavaScript, and CSS as things impossible to handle, at least for me. I was always very curious about them, but I always thought that to understand them, I would need an extra level of math or logical reasoning. With SheCodes, I realized that all of this was just a myth. It's, of course, in extremely different proportions, like learning a cake recipe. You know that if you use honey instead of sugar, the taste won’t be the same. Or if you add the wrong amount of baking powder, your cake won’t even look like a cake. I believe that if you’re eager to learn, focused, and a detail-oriented person, it can work out for you just as it did for me. So, I encourage you to dive into this workshop! 😎
