As an older learner, I began this course with some trepidation as I remember a time before the internet! Fortunately, Matt's excellent step by step instructions helped me to understand how a page is built, what works and why. I am eager to learn more now that I comprehend the basics.
It's been a wonderful three weeks, I feel extremely honored to be a part of the shecodes community. I have learned a lot in the last three weeks, and I must say that the SheCodes foundation has increased my confidence in my coding skills.
Shecodes made it easy for me to learn code, most of all by giving me more time. I was able to complete but it took time but I am really happy I was able to finish what I started. Ima looking forward to learning more as time goes on.
Another great addition to the courses, it was super fun to learn more about AI and how to get it to do what you want by talking to it like a human being sort of
3 Weeks back I knew nothing ,but now I know about html, CSS and javascript and all that was possible because of Shecodes. Thanks to Matt for being a awesome teacher and looking forward to learning more about coding.

SheCodes Foundation is the best ever, the art of problem solving is amazing: coding is like solving puzzles in a constantly evolving game. Each line of code is a brushstroke in the masterpiece of problem-solving. I really enjoy learning how to code and the work was everything I needed to learn how to code. I am very much honored to have been chosen to be part of this project. Looking forward to more learning and more personal growth.
To be quite honest I was scared to start, but now that I have I am not turning back.I am not yet good at this but I will succeed no matter what, so I will work hard and finish this course.
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience with SheCodes. As someone who finds coding interesting and willing to dive into the practical session, I found the curriculum to be incredibly informative and well-structured. Through this camp, I gained a solid understanding of programming fundamentals and eventually put it all in the final project that I'm proud of. React was hard work! I'm glad I got to grips with it, and I find the video tutorials invaluable - to be able to see how to create components and be able to code-along is just like pairing with an experienced developer. I certainly didn't find this easy, but it was rewarding.

I thoroughly enjoyed developing my first weather application using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. It is a lot harder than it looks and makes me appreciate the skill and effort of web developers. The workshops were well paced and I learned a lot!

I have always wanted to learn how to code, but I had no idea where to start. Fortunately, my friend recommended She codes. In high school 30 years ago, I dipped my toes into Data Processing and quickly decided it wasn't my cup of tea—it was just too dull for my taste. Fast forward through a couple of degrees in HR and TESOL, and here I am, back at square one but with a different vibe. This 3-week coding course I just wrapped up? Absolutely game-changing. It's been a blast and has flipped the script on how I see coding. Not only has it sparked some exciting goals for my future, but it's also reshaping my mindset about the whole coding gig. It feels like coming home but with a new perspective and many new doors swinging open.
I loved SheCodes Basics. The short learning videos are almost always accompanied by a practical exercise so it makes it really hands on. I liked that the videos are to-the-point, concise and don't go in too much details. It's not a 3-hour long lecture : after 15min, you're actually getting your hands dirty and learning actionable stuff! For me, it was the reassuring phrases from Matt like "don't worry, nothing's going to explode, it's just not good practice to do it like this" or "this might be confusing but do it like this for now and it'll all come together in the next video" or "ok, this is a hard exercise but you can do it and don't forget the community and tools that can help you" and of course : "Happy coding!".

This is the second course I have taken with SheCodes. It's all new for me, it's a great challenge that is often frustrating, but on the other hand, it is very motivating when you see what you have created. Wonderful course that allows you to study when and where suits you best. The content is given in easily digestible lessons and gently challenges you to help bridge the gap between watching and understanding. The support via Slack is fast and reliable so you're never waiting for assistance.
This is my second time taking the course as I leveled up to complete the full stack. I appreciate how flexible the course cadence is as a mom of two. I can fit it in when I have time and ask for an extension if absolutely necessary. There is TONS of support online, with SheCodes Athena and the Slack channel. I can't believe how much I've actually learned since the first time around.

SheCodes does a really good job. I'm glad I decided to continue onto this Add-On project. It's great how manageable the classes are to complete. I never have any problem at all, and when I do, the Slack app is of great help.
Taking this course has helped me improve my understanding and knowledge of coding.
I am starting off with absolutely no knowledge of coding whatsoever, coming into this I did a TON of research on courses, what's best to take, and why it's better than the others when I fell upon She Codes. The first thing that stood out to me was the free introduction video, I like to know what I am getting into and how the course will benefit me and I have to say the video truly gave me a lot of insight and was what convinced me to finally go for my dream and take that step. It took me over 2 years to begin, and here I am graduating from SheCodes Basic, and I feel like all that research and work is paying off. I learned basic skills in HTML, CSS and Javascript and I feel that I am ready to move onto the next phase in order to work towards my goal of working as a full stack developer.
This workshop was excellent, with new challenges but maintaining the easy to follow lessons.
