Loved to learn React with SheCodes, it is explained for everyone's understanding and actually Matt made it look way easier than it is by teaching everything step by step so well. Totally recommend this course and SheCodes for everyone that wants to learn computer work.

I never thought I could ever learn coding but SheCodes made sure that one can learn coding in the easiest yet most practical way. SheCodes Plus was really fun for me. Even though some of the coding seemed hard at first but Matt explained everything so clearly and the results amazed me every single time. I still can not believe I was able to make a Weather application!! Thanks to everyone at SheCodes and Matt for all the amazing work.
I learned a lot in this workshop and it was really fun working on my own portfolio website for the main project which i can build off of and use to showcase my work going forward. I like that Matt troubleshoots things in the videos and lets you know what the best practices are and why so you can apply it to real world experience.
The SheCodes Plus course was certainly more challenging than the basics course but it is completely jammed packed with such useful information. Again, Matt explains everything in a way that makes it so easy to comprehend, even for beginners. I absolutely loved this course and enjoyed the challenge. The amount of information you receive for the price tag is well worth it. I'm super grateful that I stumbled across these workshops and look forward to building my own apps from scratch. :)

The Basics Add-On was very useful. I am fascinated with grids :) and how much you can do in css. But I admit that Javascript still is very challenging, I need to practise more on that. Most of all I really appreciate that Matt explains the reasoning behind the code, it helps to understand how things work. Some of the lessons I'm watching twice just to repeat to myself and understand it better. Looking forward to SheCodes Plus!

I had a great time learning how to code and built my first complete website! Matt did a great job explaining what you need to know to get started and how to troubleshoot issues while coding. I enjoyed all of the project work too.
It was a very interesting experience of creating a website - from idea to implementation. I created a website for my mom with real data. I plan to use it in the future. Thanks to Matt for a clear and interesting material. That was exciting.

I really had so many pre-conceptions about coding! Luckily I joined Matt's free introductory talk and I was hooked. I decided to give it a go and see learning programming as learning any other language (which I really love, and I'm good at), and it worked. The basics taught me that I really enjoy creating something with code. I've found a new hobby that I'd like to turn into a new career path. Matt's courses and teaching styles are incredibly easy to follow along with and the site is very engaging.

This course was amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to code, step by step. I love the Matt features in the course videos, making the learning fun. However above all, the course is well structured so it is easy to get inspired and implement the techniques. All in all, I expended a great time during this course.
React was certainly more challenging but in a good way. You get to see the difference between each workshop. React is more complex but Matt guides you and explains every single step for the projects. You get to learn and understand the each step for the components and every code. Also, the slack channel also helps you understand and add any new code you like to add to your project.
This program is easy to follow and the instruction is great! Even during the more difficult courses, Matt's explanations and examples make the information far less intimidating. I also like that we are doing real-life applications of the programs/languages during the courses. The programming cheat sheets, color gradients, etc., were an unexpected find but are super helpful and easy to navigate. Coding was something I always wanted to do and thought I could learn on my own, but as a mother of two young children, a workshop such as this is exactly what I needed to help me stay accountable, organized, and motivated to become certified as a Front-End Developer.
When I first joined this 3 week course I didn't know what to expect whatsoever, however after the first week of the classes I understood that this is what I love to do and how much potential I could have completing it. I found it very useful that I could push back the deadlines for the homework as I had university deadlines due too. Everything that Matt explained during the videos was clear and concise and very understandable.

I loved how straight forward and interactive this workshop was! I'm impressed with the way Matt was able to break down each coding language in a very simplistic way. I never ever suspected to love coding. It wasn't until recently, when i discovered "SheCodes" and signed up for the free coding class that i discovered exactly how creative the process of coding really is. I can't believe that I finally finish all the workshops from Basics to React in just a few months! React is one of the latest requirement for web development. I decided to start SheCodes a few months ago when considering a career shift from nursing. I started with SheCodes Basics and loved it! I signed up for SheCodes Pro and just finished the SheCodes Plus portion. I will admit, JavaScript has been challenging to learn since I started with zero knowledge about coding, but Matt makes it so fun and explains it really well. Not only am I learning completely new computer languages, but Matt is also teaching real world coding skills. While this weather app has been very challenging at times, there has always been resources to help me solve the problem when I get stuck. And I'm very proud of my final product!
