What an awesome way of learning code, every challenge is intended to help you grow and learn code step by step, i would recommend this course to everyone as it is detailed, structured and focuses on syntax based in Javascript, HTML and CSS. I learnt so much information but it was not overwhelming as a summary is done to help you progress in each step. Matt is an amazing teacher and i can't wait to get to the next phase.

I truly recomend the shecodes workshop. It's so easy to learn with Matt and all the exercises that he asked us to do. I loved these lasts weeks and I'm considering to continuous to learn more about coding.

I started SheCodes Basic with no prior experience coding or in any area of tech. Matt really breaks down the info into easy to follow lessons. I like that each lesson gave you the opportunity to actually practice coding. This workshop has really inspired me to continue my tech education! 10/10 would recommend this workshop for someone who is looking to start learning front end development from the very beginning.

Matt is amazing, his voice is very nice and make me very interested in everything. Also the lenght of the classes are perfect to me, and I have ADHD and that makes very hard to focus with boring classes. Everything is thought to make code more interesting and colorful, since the amazing teacher to the bright colours to the small challenges at every little new thing we learn make everything very easy and appealing. thank you so much. the Basic is perfect to start with HTML, CSS and JavaScript esssencials. I will be back to do the other workshops because I really enjoyed this course I always gave up on-line courses or take years to finish! this was really a blast.

I did always run away from JS. but this time I think I learn how to use it. of course, there are tons of video out there that talks about JS but it always generalizes the whole concept and not the specific step for someone who just wants to become a front-end developer. and seeing all those codes and not knowing actually where to use them was scary. but, Matt points out what was important at each step and made it easier to understand the whole process. thank you so much.

Before SheCodes, I found coding extremely boring! But Matt and SheCodes team changed that forever. I did it again!! Learning a new skill can be difficult but rewarding. I was hard on myself during these past 8 weeks, trying to push myself to the point I was lacking food and sleep. I had to remind myself that it's okay to take a break, refresh and start again, especially when my code has errors. By clearing my head I was able to take another approach and found the solution. So, it's okay to take a break but giving up is not an option for me. Thanks to Matt and his team for providing so much support during this time.

Really enjoyed this course - it is fairly hard, and doing some extra Youtube or Free Code Camp alongside really helps the learning - it took me a bit longer than normal, but Matt re-covers things we had done in the past which was really helpful. Personally, I think it would be great if Matt added in how to handle the temp change, just so we know how to do it in the most efficient way possible

I'm beyond thrilled with Matt and the entire SheCodes Team! Due to the Slack Community I never felt alone and I'm impressed with the amount of support I had at my fingertips! I have a bit of background in coding but I learned more here in SheCodes than when I was doing this professionally. The lessons are very well paced and the explanations are not lengthy - the Instructor, Matt, goes straight to the point, which I really appreciate. He also does it in a way that's easily understandable. I also like how the exercises are not super serious where it can get intimidating. Rather, it's fun and there's a whole community out there that's willing to help you if you're stuck.

No one is kidding about React, it IS hard work, BUT...Matt takes the time to show you step by step how to build it and explains why it works the way it does. He even shows you possible incorrect solutions and why they are not the best choice. It will test your patience but it feels so exciting when you figure the puzzle out! As long as you follow your coding right along his teachings, you WILL succeed :D

Just completed the She Codes Basic-add on course (Intro to Web Development) . The course content was interesting and challenging, but presented in a way that was easy to follow. I like the practical approach to learning coding, which allowed me to apply what I learned immediately. There's a project that we had to create at the end, and Matt, the instructor, was incredibly helpful in guiding us through the project, and I felt that I was able to learn a lot through this experience. I also like the fact that everyone's project is unique and different, despite us all learning the same thing. I can't wait to continue my coding journey with She Codes!

I struggled to understand some of the steps as when Matt was coding, the screen was jumping and I wasn't sure exactly what the changes were. I had to rewind the videos a lot to be on the same page.
