I have been so happy with my SheCodes experience. I was most worried about learning React but Matt made it so easy to follow and understand. I liked building another weather app because it really shows you the differences between JS and React.

Really enjoyed the three week basics course. The course has given me a nice introduction to coding and allowed me to decide whether coding was something I wanted to continue with - without committing to spending a small fortune on something I wasn't initially sure about. The classes were straight-forward, and I love having the solutions tab to show me what I could have done better (or a different perspective on how to complete the challenges). The only negative is that I thought my final project would be checked before certificates were processed, this doesn't appear to be the case - you could literally copy and paste your project from Matt and still 'qualify'.
I'm super excited, SheCodes is the best coding workshop! SheCodes lessons are easy to understand and fun to learn. I especially enjoyed watching how Matt solved the problems he encountered along the way and this made the lessons more personal and built my confidence. As a homeschool mom of 2 I wasn't sure if I would have the time to try to learn to code. I've been out of college and the workforce for a few years now and I looked at a handful of possible bootcamps to try. I'm so glad I went with SheCodes. Not only is it perfect for people who need to do lessons at random, odd hours, but the content is great and easy to understand. Matt is seriously the best instructor I've come across so far in this field. I never thought I would be able to write a line of code and make it functional, but SheCodes made me believe. I loved the experience, the videos in each lesson are very enlightening and the practice exercises are great. This was my third shecodes workshop and like the previous ones, I enjoyed it very much and learned a lot about responsive web design. My goal was to create the starting pages for my new website which will eventually replace my current one, which I created using a website builder app. Having successfully gone through this shecodes workshop I have been able to do just that and am now confident to carry on building the remaining pages in order to soon replace the old website for good. It helps to have a community to support you in the process and learn as well from other people's questions and open your mind by looking at other people's projects. Would definitely recommend this workshop!
A very enjoyable course. Matt explains everything in an understandable and interesting way. I would definitely recommend SheCodes to anyone who wants to start their adventure with coding.
