When I started coding with SheCodes I was clueless and I didn't know anything about coding. But now I am able to create Website using HTML,CSS,JavaScript, GitHub and Hosting and when I am stuck the Slack team support and Matthieu always available to assist me. I would recommend SheCodes to young and old women in Tech. I can't wait to get an opportunity to showcase what I have learned in this short time.

If you're looking for a breakdown of the basics, this is IT. I've maneuvered my way around some embedded codes before, but didn't fully know why (or even what) I did to make it "work". SheCodes is the best decision I have made so far, I have been to a lot of bootcamps and I always gave up along the line because of how tough it seemed, but SheCodes simplified coding and made JavaScript look so easy and understandable. React was by far the most difficult and confusing of the SheCodes learning experience - Matt made it as understandable and fun as possible. Though challenging, seeing my code come to life made it all worth it. And though this is my 4th certificate from SheCodes - the fact that I came from absolutely no coding experience to learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JS and now creating a working website using a popular programming language blows my mind. And I did it all in my own time while working a strenuous finance job. Thank you Matt and all the TA's for all your support!

I already had some knowledge in HTML/CSS/JS before starting the SheCodes Basics because of which I was able to complete the workshop within a week. Got to learn a lot of new techniques. Wish that I'd known about SheCodes earlier, I would highly recommend these workshops to anyone. Matt teaches every hard thing in a simple way. Mucho helpful resources are provided. Challenges next to each topics were actually interesting which doesn't make me sit still just by watching the tutorials.
I enjoyed my introduction to the coding-world at SheCodes. It has been challenging but also a lot of fun. The program is easy to follow and the instructor Matt makes the lessons enjoyable. I come from a background in the healthcare system and therefore coding was intimidating at first. But i'm amazed at how much i've learned in such a short period of time. As someone who has always thought about learning to code, I have always found it so overwhelming to start. But, this course made it easy and accessible. I took SheCodes Basic because I had 0 knowledge of the coding world and I wanted (want) to start a job in this career. I did some research also by myself but in my opinion, you always need someone that teaches you the basics in the right order! SheCodes is perfect if you do not know where and how to start navigating the world of coding! It is very practical and I appreciated the clear and practical explanations of Matt
The course strike the perfect balance between being simulating, challenging, and fun. We used APIs and git version control for the final project, deepened our HTML, CSS, and JavaScript knowledge, and hosted the project on Netlify. If you have a question, just wait for a bit; Matt is probably going to answer it in the next video π. Overall, I enjoyed every second of it.

I've enjoyed to learn new things, I'll be honest, the part of Javascript was not as easy as I was thinking. It's slow me down a little with the course since I've to repeat few time the same lesson, but Matt was explaining everything step by step, so I was just keep following his instructions and keep trying again. And the end I did my weather app very clean and simple without too much things to complicated my codings. But overall I enjoyed the course.
A few months ago I took a leap of faith and joined SheCodes foundation. I had the opportunity of creating a web page from scratch, this has improved my skills in HTML, CSS, JS and VS Code. In a short period of time I am astonished by all the knowledge I have acquired in the workshop. I am looking forward to creating more advanced projects. I have taken quite a number of courses but struggled with understanding and completing them. I have been in the design field for almost 15 years. I needed to expand my knowledge of HTML, CSS, & JavaScript, as I am working towards being a UI designer, but I was so intimidated to learn how to code. I attended the free 60-minute class, and surprisingly it seemed pretty simple with how Matt explained everything. I was shocked and excited at how quickly I caught on with everything in the basics course. This course has definitely boosted my confidence! Now I really enjoy coding with HTML, CSS, & JavaScript.
