The course is a pure pleasure. I wouldn't say it was super easy (there were many moments when I got stuck) but it was a real fun to solve those puzzles step by step. I absolutely love SheCodes! I started this class with zero knowledge of coding. The challenges were really very 'challenging'. There were days I stayed up all night trying to figure out a challenge without going through Slack. Right now, I'm an expert in HTML, CSS and JS. I love the way Matt Delac explains everything. This phase of learning has been very interesting, there were a lot of fun moment, confusing ones and emotional moments. The beautiful part about this bootcamp is the support from the whole team. Everyone is always willing to assist, Matt is the most patient instructor, he ensured that the content was well delivered and consumed. SheCodes Basics is the perfect workshop for anyone getting back into coding or trying to figure out if coding is their cup of tea! I enjoyed every lesson and the challenges were engaging and allowed me to be creative while putting what I've learned into practice! I currently have a full time job but the pace of the workshop was perfect for me and I did not feel overwhelmed by the weekly homework! Unlike other courses there is always a fast way for me to solve any issue or problem I faced by reaching out on slack or going back to watch the videos. I learned so much more in Responsive that I thought I would. SheCodes is the best decision I have made so far, I have been to a lot of bootcamps and I always gave up along the line because of how tough it seemed, but SheCodes simplified coding and made JavaScript look so easy and understandable. I also love the little exercise we do at the end of every lesson, it makes me remember what I have been taught and how to apply it to each project we were given to work on, I also appreciate the solutions given. React was by far the most difficult and confusing of the SheCodes learning experience - Matt made it as understandable and fun as possible. Though challenging, seeing my code come to life made it all worth it. And though this is my 4th certificate from SheCodes - the fact that I came from absolutely no coding experience to learning all the fundamentals of HTML, CSS, and JS and now creating a working website using a popular programming language blows my mind. I already had some knowledge in HTML/CSS/JS before starting the SheCodes Basics because of which I was able to complete the workshop within a week. Got to learn a lot of new techniques. Challenges next to each topics were actually interesting which doesn't make me sit still just by watching the tutorials.
I enjoyed my introduction to the coding-world at SheCodes. It has been challenging but also a lot of fun. The program is easy to follow and the instructor Matt makes the lessons enjoyable. I come from a background in the healthcare system and therefore coding was intimidating at first. But i'm amazed at how much i've learned in such a short period of time.
