SheCodes Advanced Python workshop was a great follow on from the basics workshop! Matt's video tutorials were clear and easily digestible so following along and completing challenges were simple and fun to do. Throughout this course, I was given plenty of opportunities to practise coding with Python and the final project was exciting to see a real-life example of what I had learnt in action.
I started SheCodes with absolutely no knowledge of how to code. The programme was not only challenging but it also gave me the feeling that I had all the support I needed at my fingertips. Honestly, I found Python to be such a breeze, considering the fact that I learnt JavaScript and React before learning Python, but it was so much easier having Matt as an instructor and guiding me through each step

Really fun and enjoyable workshop! Matt explains the concepts clearly so even though there is a step up in level from the previous workshops you do not feel as though it is too much too fast as it is done in a considered way, incrementally and just the right speed. I especially enjoyed learning about Git and deployment, the whole workflow element was really helpful to understand the end to end process involved in creating an app.
Matt Delac is a great teacher and helped me understand basic html, css and JavaScript coding in a few video lessons something I likely wouldn't achieve reading e-books. I wish Matt writes a book on coding! Thanks sheCodes for giving me an opportunity to learn.

I find the explanation videos very helpful, it's a very hands-on approach. I also like that Matt shows us alternatives in some cases when things can be solved in another way. I also like that the workshop challenges you to try solving a task or problem by yourself first, before showing you the solution. That encourages you to think out of the box or try new things.

I had started my coding journey two years ago, a few months after giving birth to my daughter. My main motivation was starting a lucrative career that would allow me to spend more time with my baby. I have tried many workshops, online courses and bootcamps but none of them compare to SheCodes. SheCodes Basics has made my coding journey so much fun and I have enjoyed learning how to build my very own webpage in just a few days. Before doing this course , I was skeptical because people I had asked about had told me it wasn't an easily graspable content. So I continued to postpone my start dates due to the fear of failing. But as soon as I started, all my doubts went out the window because of the extensive help I received from my Tutor, Matt Delac. The response time for my problem was incredible and I couldn't be more satisfied. I can't wait to see what more SheCodes has in store for me.
SheCodes Responsive really took me on a coding adventure! I learnt a lot of new techniques in CSS (e.g. how to declare a variable in css to use in multiple pages) and html - how to build multiple page websites and navigate different sections using links. The most interesting aspect of this workshop was learning how to make websites responsive (across different platforms) and making it search engine optimization (SEO) friendly on google. It was a challenging but very interesting and rewarding workshop. Thank you once more to Matt and the SheCodes team for the lessons and weekly challenges.

Wow, all I can say is this was 1 full year of my IT course in 3 weeks. I was able to understand syntax; I can't fully remember the labels, but now I know what to do when I run into a problem; I can read and actually understand code, thanks to Matt!!!

Matt is an outstanding teacher. I was able to go step by step and understand the backbone behind some of the language that we see on the internet.

Really enjoyed this! Matt is a great teacher and I like that the homework assignments get you coding right away and really make you work through the logic of the code to figure out how to make things work. I feel like I've learned a lot already and have a solid foundation for the next workshop.
