I knew absolutely nothing about coding / programming, and thanks to this team and this company, I learned how to create basic web designs, responsive and react websites. SheCodes Plus workshop focuses on JavaScript and API integration, and I must say that it has been an incredibly enriching experience. I really enjoyed this course. A great intro to HTML, CSS and Javascript - Matt's lessons were easy to follow and the final project was the ideal way to bring everything I'd learned together.
Loved this one, I have started to feel more confident coding! I love the structure of watching Matt complete the site then submitting something of my own - it means I can follow along and I don't get too lost or frustrated in the process. Highly recommend.
I honestly can't believe I've signed up, started and completed it SheCodes Basics already?! Time flew by so quickly & I wish there was more hahah! The format of the course & each lesson & class have been tremendously helpful & beneficial, allowing me to follow along with Matt & replicate what he's doing. Any time I face an error I can rewind to double check my work. Athena the AI has also been tremendously helpful resource! The team on Slack were AMAZING! And the open channels & communication really helped. I would search there as a first step and found that there were reoccurring mistake themes we all faced collectively; made me feel like I'm not alone ha-ha! I'm definitely excited to learn more
Matt is truly a gem! The SheCodes Basic bootcamp was very fun and easy to understand. I was a bit nervous about embarking on this journey but Matt has a true knack for teaching and making every concept relatable. I truly enjoyed this bootcamp and I plan to upgrade to SheCodes Plus!

SheCodes Basics was a lot of fun and helped to fill in many gaps within my self-acquired knowledge of the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. It has also given me a more comprehensive understanding of coding and what it can do. I am very thankful for the thorough explanations, the wonderful way the workshop is broken down into bite-size portions, and the fact that we are challenged and encouraged to interact further with the language beyond the lesson and make our own discoveries along the way. Assuring a student comprehends and has proper command over the language is something that is often overlooked in online workshops, so I very much appreciate Matt's method!

This is my 4th course already and I can't believe all the things that I learnt. The way of the lessons are structured and how Matt teach makes easily to follow. I'm very proud of myself because I graduate more than 10 years ago and make a routine to sit down and learn was not easy. But as I said the structure of the lesson helps to make them easy to follow. My knowledge about tech was only as customer, but now that I learn a little bit more, I want to keep learning and make this my new job.

When I started SheCodes basics, I had no background in coding. I had no Idea on how to do anything related to coding but now I know a thing or two. Also, Matt makes coding really fun! he is a great instructor.
I really enjoyed this workshop. Matt explains everything in a simple, digestible way. I have ADD and long learning videos are usually super tiring for me, so the short moduls were great. Same for the challenges with deadlines - I learn best by physically doing the thing I'm studying (plus I'm more likely to actually practice, if someone else is "waiting" for a result), so this was great, aswell. Looking forward to the next one!
The course gives step-by-step instructions how to start with React, create components, use state, fetch data using API. SheCodes Plus Add-On was another great workshop by Matt! I really enjoyed diving deeper into javascript and enjoyed building a new and exciting project in such a short period of time.
This project is a great guide for anyone wanting help to finalize a portfolio page. If you already have knowledge of building websites, Matt is also giving you tools how to climb the Google ranks.
I have really enjoyed SheCodes so far! I love that it feels as if they thought of any possible event/question that you might have and gave you the tools to overcome them before you even had to reach out for help! Matt is also incredibly good at explaining things simply and logically, which makes learning much more enjoyable. I used to see coding as something only a few (that had studied for years and years) could understand, but thanks to SheCodes, now I know that if you have the right people to teach you and have your heart set to learn it, you can start understanding a few things since day 1!
