Self paced, and able to speed up or slow down based on your week. I really enjoy Matt Delacs teaching technique. You feel like you are playing a game, where you WANT to learn, compared to learning at a lecture in college where you zone in and out. AKA it is highly enjoyable and easy to understand.

As always, some very complicated subjects, topics, and ideas were made super simple by Matt's fantastic way of explaining things, plus everything was broken down into bite-sized pieces. I cannot recommend it enough! 💖👩‍💻

Shecode is something that any women of any age can do! It was a great experience and I had a lot of fun doing all of my work that was given to me by Matt!

I have been a nurse for last 20 years. Due to my medical condition its getting to difficult for me to work and do what I loved. So I stumbled upon the 60mts session my Matt which came across as very comprehensive, interesting and very easy to follow along which made me to join the Basic course. I thoroughly enjoyed it and looked forward to solve each challenge or homework. Hopefully I would continue this journey to achieve my goals.

SheCodes Plus is a bit more challenging than Basics, it requires more time and lots of practice but it is definitely worth it. I learned so much and I am so much more confident in my coding skills and it's all thanks to our wonderful instructor Matt.

Upon starting this workshop, I quickly realised React has a steep learning curve. However, Matt made the topic approachable and less intimidating through clear explanations and informative demonstrations. This workshop has been a great learning experience that has left me feeling much more confident in furthering my knowledge of React. The project was an excellent means of putting what was taught throughout the workshop into practice. It is also a great follow-on from the SheCodes Plus workshop, highlighting the difference between Vanilla JS and React.

After the React workshop, the Adds-on is definitely a must. You become more aware of everything you still have to learn about react but it gives you a necessary extra boost of confidence. The more you practice the better, specially if there are people guiding you and supporting you. Matt is a great teacher with a great team. I highly recommend to follow the full SheCodes program with every Adds-on if you are taking becoming a front-end seriously. I really loved and immersed myself a lot more in the course. It was more challenging than SheCodes Basics but also a lot more fun!! Matt really guides you through the making of the entire project but you're also given enough freedom to make it your own and play around with the code, if you choose to. Learning how to implement API was one of the most challenging but rewarding parts of this course. Learning about GitHub was also very useful. I recommend this course to anyone who wants to get started on programming.

I had never done any coding before I started this course with SheCodes. I was very anxious I wouldn't be any good or able to understand it, but the lessons are well paced and very well explained. As a mom of two I found SheCodes Plus very challenging at times, and often frustrating just like Matt described, but in the end creating a weather app that works with real life data was an amazing feeling of achievement. I would highly recommend this workshop as the lessons are clear and concise, and you become a part of a community that's always ready to help. What I love the most? You get to learn at your pace, and if you need an extension or more time to grasp a lesson that is possible, its not like being in a classroom where you get left behind. The pace of this course was perfect for my needs and I learnt so much with Matt! The introduction to JavaScript was by far my favorite part because it was a bit challenging at moments, but that only encourages me to keep learning so I can gain even more experience and improve my coding skills!
