Great introduction to Python. Even if you don't have experience with any other programming language, this course makes Python accessible. Matt's directions were clear and the instruction built gradually, so you could apply each lesson as you progressed. SheCodes provides helpful resources for success including the SheCodes Athena AI. I have incorporated APIs in previous modules and other projects, and I enjoyed learning the similarities and differences in using them with Python. Looking forward to the next Python SheCodes course.
I truly enjoyed creating this project and learnt a lot of useful skills such as HTML tables, embeds, grids etc. I'm so happy with the outcome of my landing page about Tulum and I found this add-on course really fun and note-worthy as you can create various forms of creative websites utilising these skills that Matt teaches you. I look forward to pursuing SheCodes React and producing more aesthetically pleasing, functioning websites.

I have to say, this one was a little more challenging than what we previously covered. But, it was an incredibly rewarding experience. This course pushed my boundaries and expanded my skills in ways I hadn't imagined. Firstly, Matt was phenomenal as always. He is truly an expert in this field and has a knack for explaining complex concepts in a clear and accessible manner. His passion for coding is infectious, and it continues to keep me motivated throughout the course. What I loved most about this class was the challenging part of it, which was to apply everything we learned from the lessons on a project. This was my first experience with back-end coding, and now I'm hooked. Matt's videos walk you through the process, so you can see and understand why things work the way they do. More importantly, he demonstrates that even experienced coders sometimes need help, and how to find it when I needed it, helping build confidence that I could accomplish these tasks on my own.

Today marks the end of eight weeks journey with SheCodes Foundation. Those eight weeks have been so amazing. My name is Whitney Reed. I'm from Mississippi, but now living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Back, in 2019 and in 2021, I had got in trouble. I lost custody of my daughter to my aunt and uncle in Mississippi. In 2022, I was into a relationship not too long after that and I wasn't happy with my life and the choices i made in it. in 2023, I, then, decided to moved to New Orleans. My goal was to do DoorDash with my car and saving up money, but i ran my car down and sold it. After using up my money and resources, I called a friend up for advice on the next move. She suggests a shelter, so I look one up. The second listing on Google was the New Orleans Mission. It's a faith-based homeless shelter that has an amazing 1 year discipleship that gets people learned about God and help you get back to him. After that, they help people get back in society, and help people get back with their families. I'm a graduate of the program and now into the transition stage, where I'm working full-time and working on a car and housing and hopefully, reuniting with my daughter. It's wonderful. While I was there, I was thinking about get back to school, especially in computer and technology. I already went to four colleges, but i dropped out of all four (mainly because of the discussions). One day, when I finally did my research, I came into SheCodes and signed up in Novemeber 2023 on the Black Friday sale. So far, I love the setup. I like how Matt explains each lesson so well. I definitely like Athena AI in answering my questions so well and also the people over at Slack as well. I wanna thank the people responsible at SheCodes for giving women the chance to learn how to code. I appreciate it!

I definitely recommend shecodes, I tried a few workshops before finding shecodes and it never lasted, but the teaching method that Matt created here makes it much easier for anyone who has never seen programming or knows the basics.
I've really enjoyed my time on SheCodes Basics as it's helped me revise the core elements of all three HTML, CSS and Javascript. While it was tough at times and I had to search for extra help online during the course, I managed to create my first project: a small webpage that I'm really proud of! I really enjoyed the workshop, Matt's explanations were very clear and he made things easy to understand. The homework and challenges were a great way to put new knowledge into practice.
Again it was a workshop where I learned valuable skills. I also could practice the techniques I learned in previous courses. It is rewarding to see the AI poem generator coming to life and providing the user with funny content ;) The hardest part for me was to describe the context in a way that would make AI deliver expected results. This was sometimes a bit annoying, because I already felt that the content provided was extremely detailed, plus I followed the guidance of Matt. So definetely a lot of patience may be necessary to test out ideas. Maybe it comes with more experience. All in all I liked the workshop and I am looking forward to the next courses.

Thank you so much Matt for an excellent workshop!. HTML, CSS and Javascript were all very new to me. I found the second week the most challenging for sure. By taking time to rewatch the videos and reaching out on Slack, I started to understand a little, found support and then really enjoyed week 3.
i just graduated from my computing masters degree and i didn't learn a thing. i was pleasantly surprised that i can build a website within 3weeks of registering for the SheCodes bootcamp. thank you matt for breaking it down and making it easy to understand.
