As a Computer Science student, I've never been one to fancy the idea of sitting behind a laptop, working on code that isn't working, only to find out that I missed a semicolon. Imagine the frustration! I told myself that I would avoid coding and pursue non-technical jobs after graduation. However, as I researched potential career paths, I realized that nearly all the jobs that interested me required some coding experience. It dawned on me that I couldn't escape coding in the Computer Science field, so I started searching for boot camps to learn how to code. That's when I discovered the SheCodes Foundation website and decided to apply. Thankfully, I was accepted and began my coding journey. Initially, I only intended to learn coding because I couldn't seem to avoid it, but I ended up falling in love with it. I was curious about coding while studying psychology, and thanks to the free 1-hour demo and Matt's ability to simplify complex concepts, I was inspired to sign up for the online workshop.
