It's a little bittersweet because this is my last workshop. SheCodes React was exciting and challenging, and I completely had to "step away" from my computer a few times as Matt usually suggests to do when we are stuck :). I'll forever be grateful for these workshops and I hope to build on what I've learned over the last few months as I continue my journey towards a career in tech. I really enjoyed learning how to code with SheCodes. Matt Delac explains everything pretty clear in his lessons. You have enough time and possibility to practice new information - almost every lesson has one challenge, at the end of this lecture you can also check, how this challenge (of course it will be not the only one solution, because your code can be also correct) should be done and improve your solution. This has been such an exciting, mind-blowing, challenging and rewarding experience! I have always been fascinated by coding but it seemed too complex to even consider. When I started reading that through SheCodes it was possible to learn how to code without the need for previous knowledge, I got excited! Matt teaches everything from scratch in a very simple and effective way and the support team is always there to help when you need it.

I can't believe that I passed this part and I learned JavaScript as well. I can't believe it! during this path, you may feel exhausted, sometimes bored. SheCodes has got to be one of the best formatted basic coding courses I have ever had the privilege of participating in. There was just enough learning time to really absorb each lesson and with submitted code expectation, I felt a real accomplishment had been made. Wow! I just built my personal website! That is amazing. I loved building it, but it did become a little stressfull in the end. I wanted to make a beautiful website and realised I don't have much 'design' experience. But.. you don't need that too much actually. Keep focused and you can make a beautiful website with the help of Matthieu and the team!

I can't recommend SheCodes highly enough! I had so much fun making this weather app, it was the perfect balance of challenging and rewarding. Didn't think I would enjoy spending evenings after work plugging away on VScode so much! The videos and homework assignments from Matt and the support provided by the SheCodes team was so helpful in getting my head around the coding fundamentals, I don't think I would have made it this far without it!

I've been interested in learning how to code for some time and found free courses online but the issue with those is that it's very hard to be motivated. This workshop is different as all the videos are not only very informative but very easy to follow. Each video has a challenge which makes you put your skills to practice and I've enjoyed every single one of them. Also, Matt's a great instructor and I highly recommend this workshop.

I've had such a great time taking this course and will continue to complete more workshops. What makes SheCodes special is that they take the time to explain why things function, and what the intentions are behind the code. I've attempted to take other courses that often lacked the understanding of how to explain the steps of why things are done. Instead, those courses often presented sterile explanations of what is being done on a screen. Matt is an excellent instructor, and his method of teaching actually helps you learn, not just memorize.

I majored in English and creative writing in college, going off the notion that I'm a predominantly right-brained individual. Never did I expect a well-placed ad for a free introductory coding course to help awaken my dormant left brain! SheCodes made the seemingly esoteric completely accessible to me. It re-ignited my passion for world-building and opened my eyes to a beautiful new way to understand and approach our digital universe. Not only did Matthue and the SheCodes team gird me with the foundation for an invaluable set of skills, but they also empowered me to keep at my learning, to lean on a community of like-minded go-getters, and to persevere through the tougher moments of frustration. I've not felt this excited to explore and expand my mind in so long, and I can't thank (or recommend) SheCodes enough!

I loved learning React! I struggled a bit first learning Javascript, but for some reason React clicked a lot easier. The challenges and homework assignments will give you lots of practice writing the code out and Matt explains things in-depth. I'm sad this is my last course for SheCodes!! If there are ever any more courses, I will definitely sign up!

This coding class was so easy to follow and engaging. I have tried taking other online coding classes, but it was too difficult for me to follow and understand. That makes SheCodes different; Matt makes the lecture and challenges super fun. As a professional programmer with an I.T. degree, I really enjoyed this class. I never learned React.js in college and I am trying to shift my career from networking into front-end development. I really wanted to master React in a way that was easy to understand. I feel like this class would be beneficial to both mid-level beginners and professional programmers because the lectures are laid out in a very clear and concise manner. SheCodes Basics is a super affordable and fun way to experience coding! Matt is an amazing teacher, and his enthusiasm really made me also like coding. I have been interested in tech and coding for quite some time. However, I always thought you had to be a math whiz to be successful. Matthieu was very quick to debunk that myth in his free coding session. Suddenly, I didn't have any reason not to give it a try. I have enjoyed learning HTML, CSS, and JS so much! I'm really glad I made the decision to give it a try. I'll be continuing on with the SheCodes courses and will be a React Developer soon enough.

The workshop was challenging but extremely worth while once it clicks and you're able to write your code with little assistance. The break down of the lessons by Matt, followed by the assignments to practice and cement what you learn is great. I never thought I would love to learn how to code so much! I went to college for healthcare and slowly realized I'm burnt out and immediately knew I had to change something or do something that can be so fun and rewarding. I was looking online trying to see what kind of remote work I could do and as I was searching on YouTube I came upon an ad about SheCodes and what really drew me in was that it was all women! I did the info session with Matt and I fell so in love with the idea that this is actually a thing! Don't get me wrong, I knew it was a thing but to know theres a community of women on the same boat as me wanting to try something knew really excited me! I was nervous and at times, I did get frustrated a few times because I just felt like I wasn't getting it quick enough like everyone else. But Matt's videos are so well explained and the resources and information he gives are so reassuring and easy to follow that I'm so excited to learn more!

I recommend this course, especially teacher Matt Delac. Pleasant voice, great English and very accessible explanations. I think this is exactly where you should start your first steps in IT.

First of all I'd like to say "Thank you all so much!" Now I see not jut how to built the web-page, but how many work do my colleagues -the web-developers - when create something new and unique. As a SDET I saw just a part of it. And now I see the "whole picture" and this is amazing.
