She Codes has been a great way to help me learn to code as a beginner. I like that I get to work at my own pace without any added pressure. Python Advanced was a real challenge by far but I was able to follow along with the steps Matt gave in each lesson. Definitely a workshop you have to take your time with to try to understand how Python works. This workshop was a great starter to learning python, certainly learned a few things that will help me in continuing my learning of Python.
Amazing course! If you can take it, I would 1000% recommend taking it. I appreciate the way Matt breaks down his processes so that you get a better understanding.

SheCodes Basics workshop is a very fun way to learn the basics on HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This was my first contact with coding and I absolutely loved it! I have learned a lot with Matt's precious tips, and the challenges and final project were very useful to put the learning into practice, while also stimulating our creativity.

Great lessons from Matt. Rather than crafting the perfect scenarios for the online lessons, Matt highlight common mistakes when going through the codes and thereby teaches bug fixes to overcome those issues.
I'm so proud of myself for being able to complete the basic workshop and now much more excited for the next ones! Professor Matt has excellent teaching skills, he is not long-winded, he explains what is necessary and gives us space to discover things and not just copy the content. It's fun, light, I like the classes are short. I feel much more self-confident now and happy to be a SheCodes student.

Before taking the SheCodes Basics workshop, I used to think coding was a technical and boring activity jampacked with weird looking symbols and random numbers, and that only computer science nerds could understand and do it. But in less than 1 month, I learned how to create an interactive website FROM SCRATCH! I got to behold the beauty of CSS properties 🌈 and learn all about the interesting interactions that can be created using Javascript Logical Operators 🤯. Trust me, those concepts are not nearly as scary or hard to learn as they sound, especially when you have the SheCodes Instructor, Monsieur Matthieu, as your guide. He is highly skilled at breaking down the concepts, providing lots of examples and relating coding concepts to everyday things that you'll find yourself mastering the topics in no time at all REGARDLESS of your background/previous field. If you've always wanted to learn to code in an environment that doesn't make it feel like rocket science, rather fun and engaging, SheCodes is your best bet! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

This was the most challenging workshop, I never thought it would take this much to build a responsive website there is a lot that I have learned and it was so interesting. The SheCodes Basics Add-on Workshop was quite enlightening. The topics that really stood out for me in this Workshop were CSS Backgrounds, CSS Grids, and HTML Class Manipulation. This was a comprehensive and well-structured course, which provided a good foundation in various aspects of Python, including class attributes and methods, class logic, working with CSV files, data visualisation, data filtering as well as code organisation and documentation. I especially enjoyed the data visualisation part with Matplotlib and working with the CSV files. The course was a bit challenging towards the end, but the challenges and weekly homework helped a lot to check the progress and reinforce the content of the lessons. Thank you so to Matt and the team for this course. I really did enjoy it a lot!

I recently completed the SheCodes Python Advanced course. When I evaluate the 11-week training as a whole, I see that I learned a lot about Python and data structure. This course was really informative and fun, with Matt's simple and clear explanations. He is truly an amazing teacher. Highly recommended to anyone who will use Python for data analysis visualization.
Learning with SheCodes was extremely easy thanks to the instructor Matt. Because of him you can understand everything and you have all the necessary material to study all by yourself and actually write a code that works.

I liked the learning format is convenient: 1) You can choose and plan your own study time; 2) The video lectures are clear and well-structured; 3) The learning process is unique and easy to understand. At the same time, it’s convenient that after each lesson, you need to do homework, which allows you to reinforce the material covered and focus on any mistakes made. What to say? Matt Delac is a sure value! The course, as all the others, is well structured, covers pretty much all aspects with some theory and practical examples. I didn't know what to expect as I am already using Python daily, so my goal was to get some key takeaways to increase my know-how about the topic. Goal achieved! I have clarified some points and got some tips and tricks that I will definitely be able to use daily. Thanks to the whole team for creating such a nice experience!
For a long time I've wanted to learn to code but none of the platforms I tried "sparked joy" or ignited my wish to continue learning. However, SheCodes managed to do that and then some. Even going through a hard personal time, Matt's lessons were enjoyable, easy to follow, and even made me giggle.

This Workshop has been a very informative and enjoyable journey. Although challenging, Matt's guidance as well as the linked resources have been of tremendous help. You are given guidance as well as a bit of free reigns to "figure it out on your own", which I think is a great approach in adding your own initiative in projects, rather than doing an exact replica of what is required. The content was well-structured and engaging and provided a perfect phased approach into HTML, then CSS and finally Javascript. I appreciated the project deadline extension option a lot during a week where life got busy. I've had so much fun with SheCodes Responsive! This was part of the course that I thought felt miles away in terms of getting to the point where I am able to build a multi-page website, make it responsive and become confident with being more creative with the build itself with the help of Matt guiding me through each step so clearly as usual. The tutorials made the process a lot less daunting and now I feel much more confident to approach more project building both within the remainder of the course and outside of it - amazing!
