Difference between <div> and <span>
In HTML, <div> and <span> are both used for structuring and styling elements on a webpage, but they have different purposes.
The <div> element is a block-level element, which means it takes up the full width of its parent container by default. It is commonly used to group and section different parts of a webpage. The <div> element does not have any default styling or meaning, so it is often used as a container for other HTML elements.

The <span> element, on the other hand, is an inline element that is used to style a specific part of a text or a small section of content within a larger block. It is commonly used for applying styles such as color, font, or background to a specific part of the text.

In this example, the word "love" is wrapped in a <span> element with inline CSS styling applied to make it appear in blue color.
So, the main difference between <div> and <span> is that <div> is a block-level element used for grouping and structuring content, while <span> is an inline element used for styling specific sections of content.

For now, SheCodes Athena is limited to 5 questions per day for each student.

- If you're working with an HTML file: Post a snippet of your code related to the issue you're having (just copy the code and paste it into the question box).
