It’s time for the 🏡 Your Dream House Challenge! This month, put your coding skills to the test by creating a beautifully designed landing page that showcases your dream house. Whether it’s a cozy cottage, a modern skyscraper, or a beachfront villa, bring your vision to life and share it with the community.

Use different elements like text, buttons, links, and images to make your page visually appealing. Describe what makes this house your dream home—maybe it has a breathtaking view, a secret library, or the perfect kitchen. Share the unique features that make it special and why it’s the perfect place for you to live. 🏡✨

👩‍💻 Entry Requirements

Please make sure that:
- You submit only one single HTML file, including your HTML code, CSS code, and, optionally, JavaScript code. It's only possible to submit one HTML file, so multi-page websites are not allowed.

- The content is related to the challenge theme, and you include text, pictures, and buttons.
- The images and videos included in your project are hosted online. Local links won’t be visible to other users, so they are not allowed. You can use the SheCodes Uploader for images (it will create a link for you to include your images in your code): https://www.shecodes.io/uploads and other online services for videos.
💡 Pro tip: Make sure you test that the images and videos uploaded to the project work on a different computer before submitting the project.
- The project you submit is the final version. Once your submission is approved, it can’t be edited. Make sure you test your project on different devices and browsers to make sure it’s exactly what you want.

- Your submission is related to and created for the 🏡 Your Dream House Challenge, it's unique, and your own.
- Your submission doesn't include any political or religious mentions.
- You submit one submission per challenge.

Which files do I have to submit for the challenge?

All you need to do is to submit an HTML file with your entry!

Will my entry to the challenge be reviewed?

Yes. The SheCodes team will review all submissions based on quality prior to posting them on the site. We’ll e-mail you if your submission doesn’t make the cut and you can fix and resubmit the file!

How can I vote for a favorite submission?

You can vote by logging into the SheCodes website. You can simply create a profile by logging in via your Facebook or Google account.

Can I edit my entry after it's already been submitted?

For sure, you can edit and re-upload your entry. Remember that you’re allowed only one entry per challenge!

What prize will I get if I win?

If you win, you will receive a SheCodes upgrade for free! For example, being a student of the Basics workshop means you would receive free access to SheCodes Plus. You will also receive a badge that will be displayed in your SheCodes profile.

Can I use a previous SheCodes final project as a challenge submission?

For sure! As long as the topic of the final project matches the topic of the challenge.

What are the requirements for my landing page?

We encourage you to include different elements on your page (e.g. buttons, links, prompts) as well as some content about the topic to make sure your submission stands out! Let your creativity run wild!

How does the voting work?

You can collect votes from your family and friends by sharing the link to the voting page. We also encourage the community to vote on their favorite project, so submit your best work!
