I recently retired and found myself looking for an online course that will help me learn a new skill. SheCodes was the best decision I made. This was the perfect intro class I found for learning HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I would reccomend this course to anyone who is wanting to dip their toes in the coding field. The self-paced course is also great for anyone who still has a full-time job and needs some extra time. Matt is a great teacher!

Python was a fantastic experience, difficult at times, but so rewarding. Completing the final assignment felt like reaching the top of Mount Everest!! Really grateful and thankful for learning this.

Building my weather app was both a challenging and rewarding experience. At first, I felt overwhelmed by all the moving parts—integrating the API, displaying accurate forecasts, and making sure the icons and temperatures worked perfectly. There were moments when I doubted myself, especially when things didn’t display as expected. But through persistence, problem-solving, and a lot of trial and error, I slowly started to piece everything together. Debugging each issue, step by step, helped me grow more confident in my skills. I learned the importance of patience and seeking out solutions, no matter how tricky the problem seemed. By the end of the process, I not only had a functional weather app, but I also felt a real sense of accomplishment. It reminded me that challenges are just opportunities for growth, and with determination, there’s nothing I can’t conquer. I'd like to thank Matt and the team, y'all are amazing. Thank you for such a great learning experience. 💕💕

As someone who started with no knowledge of coding, I can now confidently say I've learned so much through SheCodes! The experience has been incredible. Matt is an excellent teacher who guides you through each step while also introducing new challenges, giving you the opportunity to explore and learn on your own. I especially appreciated the accountability aspect of the program, with due dates for homework that kept me motivated, even though it was challenging to meet deadlines while balancing a full-time job. Now, I have something to show for my portfolio! I can't wait to continue my SheCodes journey.
Matt explains things really well and keeps the pace just right. The tasks were easy to follow, and I felt comfortable working through them. His clear instructions made learning to code less intimidating, and I enjoyed doing the work.
The final project of this workshop looks really professional. There were some challenging elements to building the final project but it felt great to overcome them.
I really enjoyed building my dictionary app, seeing it all coming together was very rewarding.
This workshop so far it is fun, even though it took me forever to finish the first part. It is definitely worth it. It has good educators, and the short videos were a great help and came in handy.

I found the Advanced Python course really helpful at consolidating my understanding of python and its usages. I particularly enjoyed the homework, where I created a line-graph using real life data. Would highly recommend this course for anyone interested in taking their knowledge in Python a step further!

Starting this bootcamp was interesting because a lot of what Matt dives in to is great fundamentals in learning the beginner steps of becoming a web developer.
