This has been an amazing journey, starting with basic HTML and CSS, then progressing to vanilla JavaScript, and finally to React. I definitely had my fair share of challenges and moments where I got stuck, but I am happy that I made it through. I ran to the final leg without giving up! I am looking forward to editing my CV from sales to Frontend Developer and starting to look for jobs while I create things on my own. The amazing thing is, even after finishing the program, I still have access to the workshops. It will be useful when I am referring to stuff I might have forgotten. I look forward to participating in SheCodes challenges to further harness my skills. All in all, choosing SheCodes was the best decision ever!

This was by far the most challenging project but I enjoyed it. Bootstrap comes in very handy. Hard work, dedication, discipline, and consistency are the keys to a successful project. If you feel frustrated, don't forget to go for a walk 😂. This was truly an amazing experience, I'm humbled.
This workshop was another enjoyable challenge that I was excited to log into and find solutions to any bugs or error messages. The greatest reward is seeing the finished product after reflecting on the hours I put into this project and knowing if I can do it once I can do it again. I very much recommend the React Add-on if you can, Just DO It!
This took me lot longer than the alloted 8 weeks but I am really proud of the app I built. It is so cool to see these results after only a couple of weeks of coding!
This basic course is incredibly well-structured and comprehensible. I went through it with interest and understanding despite lacking prior knowledge. These add-ons are a really fun way to expand on what you learned in the previous workshop. Take a deep breath, though, React can be confusing. But as usual I learned a lot. :)

React was quite challenging, however it really equipped and help me improve my coding skills. I am now a very confident front end developer.
She codes is helping me to improve my computers skills. I am not where I should be but I am trusting the process that one I will be a professional. I really would like to the thank the she codes team for their amazing work that they are doing to all women across the world. I am still lear about the CSS and java script as they are a bit challenging to me but I trust God that I will get there.

I had no idea what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised! Learning how to code was't boring with SheCodes. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't easy for me as I had zero experience. It was supposed to be 5 hours a week, but I think I spent a lot more time. I would like to learn more with SheCodes!!

Utilizing Python to build an interactive weather application via API integration has truly been an enlightening experience for me. I was able to learn how to add HTML select elements, JS timing events as well as manipulating different time zones on Javascript! It was quite challenging but fun!
I appreciated the practical approach of the course, especially the project-based learning. The course structure was clear and the lessons were engaging and easy to follow. With this project, I've learnt the basics of JavaScript for adding interactivity to web pages, such as form validation, DOM manipulation and event handling, hosting and deploying websites. It's a great introduction to web development.

I absolutely enjoyed Basic Plus. There was a lot to learn with the APIs, git, Github and Netlify and the Javascript functions. I'm happy with progress I made. The lessons are structured so well which make it easier to understand. I am loving coding more and more each day.

Python can be very challenging, but at same time, after doing SheCodes plus, your mind can make it easier to understand all the structure. Again, Matt made it easier. I must say that athena can also be very helpful. The links are available to help with API, giving us our own Weather API Key. Very thankful.

The React module was a HARD module! I almost got discouraged a few times but thankfully I stuck it through! The constant encouragement through the videos led me to understand that the difficulty was normal. The project in the end was worth the struggle haha

My name is Whitney Reed. I'm from Mississippi, but now living in New Orleans, Louisiana. Back, in 2019 and in 2021, I had got in trouble. I lost custody of my daughter to my aunt and uncle in Mississippi. In 2022, I was into a relationship not too long after that and I wasn't happy with my life and the choices i made in it. in 2023, I, then, decided to moved to New Orleans. My goal was to do DoorDash with my car and saving up money, but i ran my car down and sold it. After using up my money and resources, I called a friend up for advice on the next move. She suggests a shelter, so I look one up. The second listing on Google was the New Orleans Mission. It's a faith-based homeless shelter that has an amazing 1 year discipleship that gets people learned about God and help you get back to him. After that, they help people get back in society, and help people get back with their families. I'm a graduate of the program and now into the transition stage, where I'm working full-time and working on a car and housing and hopefully, reuniting with my daughter. It's wonderful. While I was there, I was thinking about get back to school, especially in computer and technology. I already went to four colleges, but i dropped out of all four (mainly because of the discussions). One day, when I finally did my research, I came into SheCodes and signed up in Novemeber 2023 on the Black Friday sale. So far, I love the setup. I like how Matt explains each lesson so well. I definitely like Athena AI in answering my questions so well and also the people over at Slack as well. I wanna thank the people responsible at SheCodes for giving women the chance to learn how to code. I appreciate it!
It was a lot of fun to learn how to make websites responsive. This course left me feeling confident and accomplished as I can now make my websites functional and visually appealing for the users of my websites, regardless of the screen they are accessing it on.
That AI workshop was a game-changer! I learned so much and had a blast diving into the world of artificial intelligence.
The lessons were engaging and easy to follow! It was also fun to identify gaps in my knowledge by attempting to help others solve their issues in Slack
I enjoyed learning React. It was a challenging workshop figuring out how to fix the errors in React but it was also fun.

Great challenge
Learning how to code with React was a big change, it made things more interesting but challenging at the same time. Matt always explains everything in a very clear and simple way, which makes the entire process more enjoyable.
This is probably one of the best coding courses! You gain a lot of knowledge with each lesson. And most importantly, everything is clear, structured and practical. In the process, I keep forgetting that I need it for future work)) I keep feeling like this is my new hobby! Thanks to Matt and his team for a great job, cool courses and knowledge!

I definitely recommend shecodes, I tried a few workshops before finding shecodes and it never lasted, but the teaching method that Matt created here makes it much easier for anyone who has never seen programming or knows the basics.
