“I had a blast working on the dictionary app. I will say building the weather app in React definitely helped me build confidence going into the dictionary app. It was so cool to see how breaking down each part of the dictionary into different components could make your code much easier to read and build. I can say I'm definitely a fan of React and I look forward to learning and using it more!”

“The more and more I learn about coding the more intrigued I feel. I've always loved a good challenge and coding has definitely tested my patience but the feeling when something works is the greatest! This portfolio project has really put all my knowledge to the test and I've learned so much about myself. I now have the confidence to build other portfolios and responsive websites. I intend to keep practicing those skills by offering a helping hand to friends who may benefit from a website portfolio or responsive website. “After finishing SheCodes Basics I was extremely excited to continue my coding journey. My favorite part about coding is being able to be creative and literally start from scratch and create anything you want! I learned so much during these past 8 weeks and it has only driven me to continue my coding journey. I've learned a lot about myself as well. “Never would I ever have thought that I would be interested in coding but SheCodes made it so fun and enjoyable to learn. I have completely made a 180 on the way I see coding, especially for women. I always thought in order to be a coder you had to be a genius but I have learned anyone can do it if you are willing to put in the work.
