“Hands down one of my favourite workshops. The workshops have been arranged so that you can get to this point. If you were to start here without any background in coding you would feel like you were on a different plane. Everything that we were taught from the beginning with HTML, CSS, Javascript embedded code from Google Fonts and Font Awesome set us up to be able to understand how to use Bootstrap, Responsive as well as other platforms. I am so very proud of myself and all that I have accomplished so far. A huge thank you to Matt and the team. I am nearing the end of my SheCodes journey as a student and will soon hopefully start a chapter as a Junior Developer. I feel confident, hopeful and excited to enter it and it's all because of these fantastic workshops. To other students out there, I don’t know where you may be on your learning journey whether you are a student or thinking about becoming one. I want to encourage you to start or continue on this path. It’s not easy but step-by-step, little by little you will get there. There’s a great team and other students here to cheer you on.”

“Python Advance really pushed and challenged me. Having an understanding of Javascript helped but Python language is different. I enjoyed learning how to create plots. Python has endless possibilities.”

“As someone that was apprehensive about using AI and how to utilize it, I have grown in my comfort level. I enjoyed being introduced to it "AI-Add On". Being able to learn more and practice using it in this workshop was great. I feel more comfortable with using it as a tool for my work. “Loved this! Learning more about forms, how to utilize them and how to inject time and timezones was a lot fun. I will say it again repetition as well as trial and error are what help you retain the knowledge. When it gets challenging, taking a deep breath, water break or whatever helps you and then go through your code step-by-step and you will figure it out. 😊”

I have to be honest I never interacted with platforms like ChatGPT before, I didn't know much about prompts, contexts and plugins...Each lesson is like the ones in previous workshops built upon each other so that you can create your own project using AI. I love the challenges and repetition. At the very beginning of my journey with SheCodes I was wondering how am I going to remember all of this and little by little I am. I am starting to feel more confident as a developer🦋.”
