“My company offered a discount for the SheCodes workshops, and as a Technical Project Manager who has always wanted to learn to code, I took the opportunity during the pandemic to jump in. I think the structure and routine of SheCodes lessons helped to simplify and reinforce basic dev concepts through repetition and real-world application, but a lot of the lessons seem plucked from the developer.mozilla resources. Also, for the amount of material, I wish there were an easy way to download documentation, although I suppose I could just go to developer.mozilla and find them there. Ultimately, the reason I probably wouldn't recommend SheCodes to anyone is the weird taste left in my mouth having learned post-signup that SHECodes was founded and run by a man. :facepalm:”
