“I am delighted to share my experience with the SheCodes Foundation as a female biotechnologist who was fortunate enough to receive their workshop scholarship. From the moment I was accepted into the program, I knew that I was in for an incredible opportunity to expand my coding skills and network with other like-minded women in the tech industry. As someone with a background in biotechnology, I have always been fascinated by the intersection of science and technology. However, I had limited experience with coding and programming languages. The SheCodes workshop provided me with an invaluable introduction to coding languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Through hands-on projects and real-world examples, I was able to grasp the fundamentals of web development and design. One of the standout features of the workshop was the supportive community of women who were all striving to excel in the tech industry. The mentorship and guidance provided by the SheCodes team were invaluable in helping me navigate the challenges of learning a new skill set.
