“My brother, who is a software engineer, has told me so many times that I have good problem-solving skills and that I should learn coding. He tried teaching me coding before, but when he did, to me it was very overwhelming, and so I thought that I coding was never for me until years later and I found a free coding session of SheCodes online. I decided to give it a try because I thought, "What's the worst that could happen?". There I found Matt teaching coding in a very approachable manner, explaining everything as if he were taking me by the hand leading me step by step. The way he makes comments on subjects make the lessons relatable so that I did not feel intimidated or overwhelmed. Surprisingly, I enjoyed so much that I decided to try out the 3-week course. And now that I've finished the 3-week course, I can actually see that I do have a potential to make this my career so I've decided to dive into SheCodes Max to invest in myself for my future. I would not have been able to learn on my own if not for SheCodes. I'm excited to start next week!”
