“I started SheCodes Basics in January of 2021 as I had an interest in learning how to code. In my day job I work as a CRM manager, and it's important that we have a basic knowledge of HTML + CSS. However, in January 2021, I only got as far as week 1 because I was discouraged. I thought to myself I'd never be able to fully grasp the concepts I was learning, especially without a CS degree. The same curiosity about coding came again 3 weeks ago, and I figured I had nothing to lose. Knowing and understanding HTML and CSS is such a valuable skill. I'm happy I committed this time around.
