βSheCodes was a fantastic opportunity to truly learn about the coding world and see results in a short amount of time. I've been interested in coding for a while, but until I learned about SheCodes, no other courses fit into/around everything else happening in my life. Especially since women aren't as strongly represented in STEM fields, this is a great first step to push me personally to bridge that gap in my career and other engagements. The course had an added benefit of meeting other women who are curious, engaged, and interested in growing professionally. I'm not entirely sure yet to what extent I will incorporate coding in my daily work and life, but I am sure that the skills I've learned in the past couple of months will be useful in many other ways as well - from communicating better with developers, to understanding, using, and analysing the data with which I work. I've walked away excited to learn more and to see in what way I can be part of the huge technological advances happening all around us.β
