“Taking part in the SheCodes Basics workshop has been such a rewarding experience for me. As a Bachelor of Science student in Physical Sciences, I’ve always loved problem-solving and critical thinking, but I never thought I would enjoy coding this much. SheCodes introduced me to HTML, CSS, and JavaScript in a way that was simple, practical, and fun. The lessons were very clear, and the hands-on projects helped me see how coding can bring ideas to life. What stood out the most was how creative coding can be. Coming from a science background, I usually work with numbers, experiments, and analysis, but SheCodes showed me that coding is another powerful tool I can use to build, design, and solve problems in new ways. I now feel more confident creating web pages and adding interactivity with JavaScript. I’m very grateful for this experience because it has expanded my skills beyond science into technology. I believe coding will not only complement my studies but also open doors to opportunities in data science, research, and innovation.
