“This year I wanted a way to capture and share memories from an upcoming camp without relying on others for photos. That idea sparked something bigger. I thought, why not create an app where everyone can collect and share their pictures in a fun, interactive way? But the problem was, I didn’t know how to code. I could design on Canva, but building an app felt impossible, especially since I couldn’t afford to hire someone. So I started looking into web design programs and discovered SheCodes, and signed up. Now, I’m close to finishing my app using everything I’ve learned. I love that SheCodes lets me work at my own pace but still keeps me accountable with project deadlines. Even when I wasn’t ready, I could ask for extensions instead of giving up.I’m so glad I chose this platform it’s made learning to code both accessible and enjoyable.”
