This course has helped me improve my understanding of JavaScript, which is the coding element that I was struggling to wrap my head around. I feel really proud of my final project and would never have thought I would be able to build, having only learnt to code for such a short time. I found more confidence in using Visual Studio Code, CodeSandBox, Git and GitHub, and I also found the SheCode team very helpful on slack if I needed guidance. I'm now looking forward to the following two courses.
This training was incredible! At first, I was very intimated at the thought of coding, I never understood what I was looking at. But after enrolling in this course, I have learned so much! I truly want to thank Matt and his team, for the creativity in the assignments, and providing an overall fun experience. I am very excited to take this even further to gain more knowledge in the field. I'm excited in what I can build in the near future!!

Woohoo! I did it. 👩🏾💻💜🚀 I passed and completed my coding course and I’m so happy. I haven’t looked at coding since studying it briefly 7 years ago at uni, so it’s safe to say I needed a refresh. I took the course to improve my digital design skills as this is the field I love and thrive in. I’m a very visual learner and this course was built in a way to take in information that is quite complex in a super engaging and interactive way. I had an amazing time learning with SheCodes. It was a bit hard but really fun at the same time to try to make the website responsive on any device. Personally I liked the part where I follow the portfolio design and build the website exactly looking the same. It is definitely trials and errors but you will have fun coding and feeling accomplished at the end of the day:)

SheCodes is a very approachable way to stay in the code or learn code for the first time. Matt is seriously a great teacher - he explains concepts very clearly, simply and with repetition which is so helpful. I love the mission and the inclusive pace of the course.

This was a great 3-week course to get to grips with the basics of HTML, CSS and JavaScript! Somewhat challenging at times, but not frustrating. I really liked how the course was paced and explained, and the fact that I could reach out to other students if I got stuck.
I really enjoyed the course. It was challenging enough, but without being overwhelming. It helped to boost my knowledge. I look forward to taking another course in the future.
Great introduction to HTML, CSS, and JS. Matt is a great instructor and the videos and additional tips are helpful to go back to when working on assignments.

Good for beginners
I found it very interesting and engaging course for a true beginner like me :)
I studied computer science in college about two years ago but eventually dropped the classes because I felt I couldn't understand or keep up with the materials. I must say that the Basic's coding workshop is extremely beginner friendly, efficient, and affordable. Before I almost gave up completely with being able to learn how to code and move forward into tech but now, I have my confidence back! I've learned so much taking the workshop and would HIGHLY recommend! I'll be enrolling into the sheCodes Max workshop soon! Thanks Matt and the entire she codes team!

This course helped me to get started learning some basics in HTML, CSS and JavaScript in an easy and interesting way! It gave me a lot of motivation to continue! Honestly, I'm surprised I got through this AND actually enjoyed it. When I first started the SheCodes plus course, Javascript actually looked terrifying.But thanks to carefully laid out videos and the help of Google,I managed to gain an understanding and appreciation of Javascript. Creating a weather app was really fun, It definitely had its moments of frustration but getting something to work after a lot of trail and error made it all worth it.

I loved every second of this course! Matt's explanations and videos are super fun and easy to understand. And SheCodes team is always very supportive, so every time I got stuck I was able to find the answers on Slack app. The tasks and projects can be challenging but learning how to do them and acquiring new skills is an absolute joy.
