The beginners coding workshop was perfect for someone like me, looking to see if coding was something they were interested in pursuing. With no experience in coding at all, the combination of bite-size videos and weekly assignments made it really fun to learn. I've really enjoyed the workshop and I've learned so much in such a short amount of time, thanks to Matt & to the SheCoding team!
I always thought coding would be difficult, but this has really changed my mind. I learnt so much in such a short time, and there is so much you can do with it even with the basic knowledge learnt from this introduction course, it really depends on you and how much you invest your time with it! I will definitely think about doing the next progressive course.
I am grateful that I've learned the basics of HTML,CSS & Javascript! In such a short time I was able to create Portfolio-project!

admittedly, i've long wanted to become a developer and had countless amount of attempts to start programming learning. i`ve tested several learning programs, but during my training, my emotional state was reduced to boredom and irritation every time. i permanently blamed myself for not acting, because i had put off my development for more than a year. BUT, SheCodes course has destroyed all my attitudes and stereotypes about learning. i felt really inspired and excited, i was so self-satisfied with my small steps to success. the material is laid out very competently and consistently. each topic lays a thin layer on the previous forming strong knowledge. thank you! i will contionue my way╰(*°▽°*)╯

What a ride. I 110% recommend SheCodes, and I recommend that you start from the basics and move all the way to React. I found this workshop excitingly challenging. The explanations, as all the previous workshops, were easy to follow and very insightful. This course is great. You are provided with all the necessary tools and knowledge to successfully complete all tasks. The video explains all the material very clearly and simply. If you get stuck, you can always ask for help in the chat. I liked the final project the most because it is an opportunity to once again put into practice all the skills acquired during the course and create your own web page.

For someone with Medical/Healthcare background with absolutely zero experience in coding/web development, I am truly impressed at the format of your workshops.
I absolutely loved She Codes Basics! As a music teacher who has been in public education for the past 12 years, I was really nervous going into the workshop with no experience in tech. But Matt is a wonderful teacher and I found myself excited for the lessons and surprised by myself at quickly being able to create projects using html, css, and java. I am looking forward to She Codes Plus!

I had a taste of coding back in my college days. I took a C++ course and I loved it. I signed up to SheCodes Basic out of curiosity if that love still exists. And boy, did it! I had been curious about coding for a few years now but had no idea where to start. SheCodes happened upon my life and gave me the trial run that I wished for! I'm excited to learn more and see where this takes me!
Responsive development is a nice touch to everything else I have learned. It is like the polish on everything you had coded earlier on... it was easier to learn but is something required attention to details.
The material was easily digestible and well paced.
Definitely more challenging than the previous course, but I feel like I've learned so much about working with JavaScript, and I'm incredibly proud of my final project as it's not anything I would have dreamed I could have created a few short months ago.

It was very interesting. The course syllabus is useful and fun. Lots of interesting tasks and useful information. But a day I had to allocate about three hours for learning to code. It was an interesting experience.

I enjoyed the other SheCodes workshops (Basic and Plus), but the React workshop was very disappointing. The help from the SheCodes Slack channel was pretty apathetic - my questions and the questions of other students were often "answered" with really short and thoughtless responses that made it clear that the team was not actually looking very closely at our issues. At the time of writing this testimonial, React is on version 18, but Matt is teaching version 16 after making a big to-do about always teaching us the latest version. The changes between the two aren't that significant, but they were significant enough that it made completing challenges more difficult than they should have been. I am also appalled at how often I have heard "just Google it" during this course. I paid to learn React, have someone walk me through the terminology, and follow a step-by-step guide, NOT to read forum after forum of coding jargon I don't understand. It was also very disheartening to have to complete a weather application YET AGAIN after going through it once (or twice, if you count the last two weeks of the program) in the Plus course. All in all, I did learn about React during this course, but I feel completely unprepared to tackle it in any scenario outside of a weather app.
This is amazing!!! A couple of months ago, I had a vague idea about programming. Now I can make the site the way I want. Coding is a very exciting process! I am very grateful to Matt Delac and his team for the opportunity to receive this necessary and useful knowledge.

This is a really good course for an introduction to HTML, CSS and Javascript. The videos are very easy to follow along with enough time to complete all lessons and projects. At first, it was a bit tricky considering a semicolon was the difference between completion and some 30 minutes spent in complete confusion but once I recognized those small peculiarities and learned from them, the final project was very manageable and everything fell into place very smoothly.
SheCodes Plus had a lot of chalenges, mainly understanding how JavaScript variables and functions relate to with each other to make things work and create interaction with the User. Sometimes it is frustrating when things don't work, but then, if I compare what I did with the solution, if I search for specific code, if I ask other people and if I try again and again, or if I rest a little bit and leave my doubts for the next day, eventually a solution pops out. In the end, when things start working, I feel happy with the result and with the fact that I was able to create something of my own using code!

I am so proud of what I was able to create after 3 weeks of SheCodes Basics. As someone who has never written a line of code before, I found this workshop not only informative and up-to-date, but engaging and I looked forward to completing the tasks each week! SheCodes is my first course in Front-end field and I was zero in all this staff, so I can definitely recommend this course if you are willing to learn and want to change something in your life or to have this chance, just in case, as all Ukrainian are facing it now. In a few months you will be able to build the page you are looking at or any other you want! That is impressive! Join and test it yourself!
Completing SheCodes Plus feels like such a huge achievement! It was a very tricky module which makes me feel that much prouder for finishing it! Having the chance to work with live data was so cool I can't wait to get started with SheCodes responsive and react

I am very pleased with how the structure of the bootcamp is laid out. This was my first introductory into coding and I must admit, I don't hate it yet! I am very grateful I took this lunge into coding with Shecodes and look forward to the other bootcamps that are being offered, and what skills and knowledge ill be gaining from them!
I absolutely loved every second of this course! Even though it got a little bit stressful at times, I was able to re-watch the lesson videos, practice and make my code perfect. I couldn't recommend this course to every woman more!
