Its been a long time since ive taken a course that does not involve power point presentation s or watching the instructor read to me. Matt got right into it with "let me show you" followed by "now you do it"...there are also no quizzes but actual mini projects demonstrating you know how to do what he just showed, followed by a final project. This was sort of a refresher for me (i took a coding class over a decade ago) and thank you THANK YOU. I am not sure if I will pursue this (not for me) but what this course did was expand my realm of possibility and give me more confidence to tackle on other online courses. THANK you for making learning exciting again :) I have told several people to just take this course to see and experience what great teaching is just so they can be inspired to take more classes. Great job. Outstanding really.

This workshop changed my life for the better. I successfully created a professional-looking portfolio website of my work with SheCodes and future passion projects. I genuinely believe I'm a full-fledged front-end developer after conceptualizing my site from wireframes to releasing a highly-usable site. I was nervous to start coding, but the breakdown of the lessons into digestible videos and challenges really helped to enforce learning along the way and prepared you for each weeks homework. I am excited to move onto the next workshop to continue learning with SheCodes!

The Responsive workshop was very interesting. I especially liked that it uses real-life tools and workflows (like reproducing a design created by a designer.
Loved SheCodes Responsive! I have to admit I was struggling with Plus a bit especially after having a 6-month break in between workshops, as I felt rusty at coding. That's why I was adamant taking Responsive right after finishing Plus, and enjoyed much much more and I can genuinely say that was worth every penny. Now I'm onto the next one, and hopefully I'll be able to do some adds-on projects too! Just love the atmosphere here (even it's digital lol) and how learning to code is made so effortless by Matt! Keep up the good work 👏

SheCodes Plus was an enjoyful learning process. Everything is well explained and relevant. Building a weather app from scratch was a bit challenging but fun nonetheless! Plus course is a great introduction to JavaScript, and it defifnitely makes you eager to learn more.

It was a fantastic journey from a complete beginner in frontend development to being able to build my own websites! I think it it extremely useful nowadays to know at least something about website development. Now, after this course, I know much more than something. I am very happy with myself and my progress.

The "SheCodes Responsive" course was very rich with new and interesting information and technologies. Lectures and practical works helped to master and consolidate new knowledge.
This course is amazing! Finally I was able to create a website using API. It took me quite a lot of time due to my schedule and its level of complexity. Yet, I know this is just the beginning. I am excited to learn more and more. And to be honest, I find myself so lucky to have found out about SheCodes, where I can access to incredibly quality courses.

Workshop after workshop I am finding myself wanting to immerse myself more in coding. I never thought this would be something that I would be interested in, but Matt is such a remarkable teacher , and his teaching style is easy to understand and extremely valuable. SheCodes React is my last course and I am thrilled to finish these workshops in pursue of finding a job towards front-end development!

So far have enjoyed the course, like the step by step approach and the fact that in most of the challenges you have to do a bit of research yourself and not just to apply the same way what was presented in the video examples.
Taking the first course at SheCodes was very interesting! I got acquainted with the concepts of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and learned how websites are created. This is completely new information for me! Sometimes I needed more time to understand new materials. I hope that this is only the beginning of the gateway to the world of Front-End!
If you had a break from the first basic workshop, this is a great way to get your skills back! Very needed refresher that gave me more energy to keep on learning and coding!

SheCodes has been a great starting point for me to learn the very basics. It was easy to understand and there were lots of great resources linked throughout that I will continue to use. The projects were simple for a beginner and also allowed for more creativity if you did a little extra research or jumped in and had a bit of fun!

This was a great addition to the Basics classes that helped consolidate and improve techniques to build a functional website.
Although programming it is a completely new experience for me, Matt's step by step guidance makes the path easy to follow. Sometimes it looks frightening and way out of our league but he gives the boost and confidence for us to test and to create new things that we never thought that we could do.
I highly enjoyed this workshop! It made a huge difference for me to learn about responsive design. Can't wait to use these new skills on future projects!

The SheCodes Basic course was a great! I learned a lot about the foundation of coding. The videos are very well done and easy to understand and follow the instructions. I really liked this extra project for responsive websites without using bootstrap. It's always good to know how to do this without extra tools for when it's necessary!
