Consuming API with JavaScript was challenging but Matt made it so easy. I can now code comfortably with JavaScript thanks to SheCodes.
I am going from being a music teacher to a product manager. The SheCodes course is an engaging way to gain necessary skills in my new field.
It was a bit trickier than I was expecting. I enjoyed learning the coding but was looking for more details on API use. I work for a tech company (customer support) and was looking for a better understanding of this. However, learning how to code is definitely a great addition to my skill set.
This is my second graduation and I have to say coding is still as fun as it was when I started just a little more complex. I am looking forward to SheCodes Plus!
This was my first experience coding. It was a eye-opener. I believe I will continue to learn more about coding.
It was so fun taking everything that we have learned and amping up the stakes. While it was challenging to build this project, the foundation was super easy to complete. I spent more time working on new styling techniques and having fun researching new things to add!

I'm really happy I've got my own custom personally made portfolio website, all thanks to Matt and his great coding team teaching and helping me every step of the way. The step-by-step approach is clear and easy to follow, by the end of each class you've gained a basic understanding of each concept and then are able to try and apply those concepts yourself. Looking forward to the next workshop!

I have been trying to learn how to code by reading books and study from free/purchased online resources, but I gave up so many times because I didn't get it at all. I gave it a try again with SheCodes. And I can't believe I created webpage in 2 days! (It's actually 1-week course, but I spent my whole weekend on learning SheCodes Basic). I don't know how Matt made it so easy to understand, like, How didn't I understand this in the other places? lol

I'm very grateful to Matt and his team for creating this wonderful resource! While I wish there was more one-on-one guidance from professionals and experts in the field for the sake of professional development, the videos do a great job of teaching the technical side of front-end development, breaking down processes into highly digestible chunks.
With SheCodes, Yana was able to understand the HTML, CSS and Javascript components and used her new skills to create a landing page which will be expanded into a website in the future. She gained valuable coding experience and confidence in using the coding programs through the basics SheCodes course.
This course has taught me so much. I feel the skills I've learned have aided my development in the coding space, and I would highly recommend this course to anyone interested in diversifying their skillset.

I was looking to learn a new skill that could get my foot in the door in tech when I stumbled upon SheCodes. I knew absolutely nothing about coding going into the basic workshop- but I loved it so much I decided to go all in with the max workshop! I come from an outdoor environmental education, services, and stay-at-home mom background. I knew my way around Microsoft Word and could connect my phone bluetooth to my car....and that's about it. If I could do this then so can you! If you're on the fence, just do it. JUST TRY IT! Matt really breaks it down for you. I'm not going to lie, it was frustrating at times, but it was even more gratifying to solve the problem by myself and see the results of my hard work.

The Basics workshop exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this program for busy women to learn code on a part-time basis. This was a great way to learn the foundations of coding and how webpages are built. The lessons were challenging, yet manageable. The instructors and fellow students are so helpful and engaging. It definitely challenged me and there were many moments where I felt like I couldn't get my code to work properly. However I tried my best to troubleshoot and was usually able to fix the problem or find a new solution. I'm excited to learn more facets of coding.
