Really challenging workshop especially with learning how to make the websites responsive but I guess that's why we need to know how to do this. I enjoyed the lessons and am now more confident in building responsive websites.

I've always been afraid of coding & felt I'm not gonna learn it ever! But SheCodes has shown me that it is not impossible. Each lesson covers several new things but finishes before you get bored and I think this is the golden point. So happy to start this journey.
Thanks to the SheCodes foundation that gave me this opportunity to be in this workshop. It was incredible! I've never imagined how interesting JS would be, also Matt (the instructor) teach every subject plainly so that everyone can learn and understand in the best way.

Admittedly, I was a little overwhelmed at first. However, while I was working on the project, I felt like all of the elements I had learned during the course came together. Creating content about material that I am knowledgeable of pushed me to develop a page that I am proud to share.

This is my refresher course and I was simple enough with no hassle. Live help and feedback.
I found this course to be pretty fun. But it's definitely pretty fast paced. I would've struggled if I hadn't already learned some basic html and CSS through other platforms. But I really enjoyed all the challenges and homework. I felt like with other platforms I was just coding along and doing what the instructor did. This platform allows you to learn and try out what you've learned, which is what makes instruction stick. I'm excited to go through to the next few workshops!
I recommend it, to anyone who wanted to try it. Yes, it's not easy, but SheCodes is worth it

I am a recent graduate with a BFA degree. I realized I wanted to learn more coding (as in UX/UI) and hopefully become Front End Developer. I was unsure about SheCodes, but took the leap of faith. Totally worth it. I love everything about SheCodes, I always feel motivated coming here to learn and play with my creativity!
I really had so many pre-conceptions about coding! Luckily I joined Matt's free introductory talk and I was hooked. I decided to give it a go and see learning programming as learning any other language (which I really love, and I'm good at), and it worked. Though challenging, I'm loving the process and all the growth I can see myself gaining. Definitely recommended.

It's been awhile since I've done something that had me wanting to do it day and night, but SheCodes had me wanting to start coding the moment I woke up. I started from knowing zero about coding to making my own project with just the basic skills. This course kept my ADHD brain focused and explained in a way that anyone would understand. SheCodes plus was obviously way more challenging then SheCodes basic but not any less enjoyable for me. I am going to revisit some lessons from the PLUS part, just to make sure I fully understand certain topics before I move on to the next SheCodes chapter. I am looking very much forward to it :) Thank you to Matt and the team for all the help. Also, Thanks to the Slack team for always being so patient and prompt to answer all my newbie questions.
This was a very intense course but worth it. Definitely not easy but once you understand how it really works its actually interesting. For a person with 0 coding skills and to be able to built this project its a very proud moment.Thank you sheCodes it was a very fruitful 8 weeks.

This workshop was a great journey for me and I'm looking forward to start the next one. The best part about the workshop is that each topic is divided into short videos and challenges which by completing each of them, you feel accomplished. This program was super flexible and convenient. It truly helped me get over my fear of learning to code and broke down the process in a way that was easy to understand and engaging but still challenging. Each correctly completed exercise that preceded built my confidence for the homework submissions, and the homework submissions made the final project that much easier to complete. Working on this project was so much fun ! I notice that having a little bit of experience helps :) If a few months ago I would be really concerned whenever a bug comes up or I get stuck , now I know that most bugs have a solution or a reason, it's just the mind which needs a break. Leaving the project for a while only to return to it with fresh concertation power works like magic for me. Happy coding to all!

This course was amazing because it takes you by the hand and teaches you how to code, step by step. I love the Matt features in the course videos, making the learning fun. However above all, the course is well structured so it is easy to get inspired and implement the techniques. All in all, I expended a great time during this course.
