The interior features unique tree-like columns, symbolizing the
branching lineage of Christ and the apostles. Gaudí aimed to evoke a
sacred forest inside the basilica, reflected in the ceiling's canopy
of leaves and the overall organic design.
Colorful stained glass windows bathe the interior in ever-changing
hues, creating a mesmerizing play of light. Gaudi even considered
acoustics, ensuring the interior enhances sound quality for religious
ceremonies and musical performances.
