Have you ever heard of the Why Files? The Why Files covers mysteries, myths and legends. They tell stories ans seek the truthin a fun and lighthearted way. Thier content is heavily researched; They don't release an episote unless they're sure they can bring something new to a topic. The Why Files is a channel for people who are fascinated(obsessed) with mysteries, and conspiracies. They tell stories, seek the truth, and have a few laughs along the way.
The host and creator (and writer and editor) of the Why Files, AJ(Andrew Gentile), has a healthy skepticism. He's smart, well-spoken, and funny. He does his research, but he also seems to have grown up reading about and watching( and listening) to TV and radio shows about many of these topics.
The genius of The Why Files is Hecklefish, a computer-animated goldfish who hovers in a goldfish bowl next to AJ in every video.
The channel covers mainstream science, math, legends, history, technology, true crime, and the weird and curious world of what we tend to call "pseudoscience".Gentile's aproach is one of a skeptic who wants to believe in the cryptids, aliens, and other strange stories that often stir up controversy. While the topics may be mysterious and strange, Gentile pulls from history and science to present a full report, allowing the viewer to make up their own minds.
Hecklefish is not a regular goldfish. Hecklefish is a result of a failed attempt by the Annunaki to clone the lizzard people with a human in their hollow moon base, and was sent to earth by the CIA under alien guidance to sow the seeds of disinformation.
-Trivia
The Why Files is a history channel-viewers and listeners will learn facts like the CIA experimentiing on Americans without their consent with, among many, the MK-Ultra program("The CIA Murder that Exposed MK-Ultra:The Frank Olson Assassination"). Which leads to the quwstion, What is the CIA up to now? While the most popular ones are about UFOs and aliens(like"Alien War and the Horrors of Dulce underground base") there are more "straight" episodes , about math("Math Facts for Brain Muscles") and the possibility that the Welsh arrived in North America long before Columbus or the Vikings ("Legend of the Moon Eyed people: America's First Civilization"). The Why Files is smart, and makes their listeners feel smart for listening to them.
